Wadena has 9 wins 5 losses and 2 ties far from a losing record. They lost to 2 teams ranked in the top 15 for class A real crap teams their.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> Its to bad that those crap teams they play are in their section and conference we been over this before Wadena plays the teams they have to. Saltlick please tell me who in 4a you would consider not a crap team? Or who in the mid state conferences is not a crap team? Saltlick Wadena did exactly what every one expected them to do at state last season one and done. War road is so over hyped weren't they the best team in the state last year? The best team in the state cant win the class A tourney please. Get real. When this group of seniors and Juniors were in pewees Wadena beat War Road in the regional championship. Its just War Road has a Much better recruiting base than old wadsvill. Moorhead 6 War Road 2 the out come will never be in question.

let's not get into this crap again, we all know it, we fought about last year and the horse was burried.... Any one can beat any one at state and records mean jack when you only play 20 games in a season with vertually a different team every year, its when the team peaks is when it counts.................. Fergus Falls will try and get back on track after a dissapointment on Tuesday tonight when they go to Crookston......only their second conference game of the year and it is always tough even if Crookston is on the bottom of the conference this year........... LF lost to Brainerd in overtime, a lot better than I would've thought, Wadena tied Marshal, I'd say that so far lee's pagestat is about right as far as where he has ranked the section 4 teams compared to themselve... they I disagree with a lot on that system, but I couldn't put Wadena below Willmar and the rest and Fergus hasn't decided where they want to be yet, Little Falls if not good enough to win the section, they have EARNED a #1 seed..............what's happening elswhere tonight?????

Im not going to argue their schedule with you, come on now. 9 and 5 is not far from a losing record, the way I see it, If something doesnt improve they will lose the next 3 games, putting them at 9 and 8, and if you take out the super crap team, CIA they would be considered 7 and 8, loosing. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> . And who are these two teams that are in the top 15 in class a, Eveleth is the only one I think. Im not going to argue about Warroad with you either, they are beating everyone they should be beating, and an interesting fact, they have beat and or slaughtered 6 top 15 team in class A and 1 top 10 team from AA, and in my opinion tomorow they will beat the #2 team moorhead by 1 of 2 goals, if they loose it will be by 1. I consider Little Falls, and Furgus Falls teams to be good teams from section 4a just because of the coaching experience, Wadena has some good talent, but lacks the coaching needed to win the section, I'd like to see it happen as bad as anyone else from Wadena, but Im an outsider so my eyes are not home blinded, and I dont see them warming up in the excel.

Litte falls is #19 in class A according to Minnhock. I think they are a descent team, but I like to say they suck bad just because half of their fans on hear start to cry everytime someone says anything bad about they mighty crashers

salt, what is it exactly you have against the coaches from wadena? woods was able to do something no coach here ever did, take them to state...and i dont care how much talent you have, without coaching a team with all the talent cant go anywhere. also i would like to remind you that shelstad probably knows more about hockey than a lot of people in the state, and that he was the mvp of a national champion minnesota gopher team. i think he is a more credible person than anyone on here. nobody doubts that warroad is good, and the other team wadena played in the top 15 is virginia. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

Duh, Ive already stated exactly what I have against Wadenas coaching, and just because someone was a good player, and got some award for playing, doesnt make him a good coach. Also, I dont want to compare anyone from this section to Warroad, its two different worlds, except Little Falls, and that is just to get them boys fired up. Also, Ive heard that the ex coach is a drunk, so that makes him the least credible person on here <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> I dont understand why people get soooo mad at me on here about every post I make, is it just because I have Warroad in my name? Tell me please.

because you are downgrading everyone involved with the wadena varsity staff right now...along with shelstad. you always say they're bad coaches and such, but you never back that argument up with good points. you just leave it at the coaches are no good. if you want their job, apply for it...its a lot easier to coach from the stands, parents do it all the time.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

yeah ease up on the staff salt, instead rip the players for there off ice behavior, the ones caught and the many more for getting away with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tough one to explain to the squirts i coach they look up to them as heros. Ahhhhh its ok little johnny he was a dumb one he got caught be more like the ones who get away quicker or go out of town. Why im on my podium am i the only one that notices that at tournaments the parents always get ripped in front of the kids? Cant they at least put the happy sause in a coke can. hell we had em drinking in the stands at our tourneyment. By the way if your a forest lake parent or fan you have a class act team and coachs of your squirt b team but you also have the drinkers in the stands.

Fergus Falls 4 at Crookston 1 Nice bounce back, they won a game they should've won yet could've lost............maybe something will get going here now...... I'm not so damn sure that Eveleth was top 15 when Wadena played there and I know they aren't now, but it still was an upgrade to a dismal schedule.......Wadena and Fergus are playing similar seasons in my eyes, in many cases they are both underachieving, not living up to potential......losing some they should've won, winning a couple they should've lost and winning the easy ones......yet cannot find real consistency...... Now, Fergus seams to be comming around, lets see here: Crookston win tonight, good game at DL, yet lost in a BS type way against a good goalie.....had Greenway beaten all but 30 seconds to settle for a tie...bad game in Eveleth, but strong finish....decent holiday, and nice win over South.....gaining and improving, I'd say the last, hmmmmmm 3 games were decent to good efforts and they seem to be gainign on themselves, though ( I don't know the stats of tonights game) but as of DL game, they were 0-15 on the power play in the new year, they had at one point killed off like eleven penalties though.....leaders seem to be comming out, but a week or so should tell more...... Otters 5-5-3.......................what's happening in LF tonight and Wadena, except arguments over coaching..

the bashing of people on here is freaking ridiculous (warroadsalt) calling people drunks over a freaking place to talk about hockey, why dont you go talk about warroad, the best freaking team in the world, someplace else where someone actually gives a crap, read the the title, section 4A predictions. wow..... its getting pretty heated in here, just wondering if anyone has any predictions on the DL and Wadena game this next Tuesday. wadenas back at full strenght for the dl game, they will have alot of jelling to make up, if the team gets back to their pre new years flow i think they will be climbing the ladder of respectibility again. The team has looked tired the last 3 games, lots of over time and a very short bench used ,this 4 days off will help. the thing i do like about fergus's season plan, regular season games won arent as important as getting 15 players ready to play at sections. Wadena seams to be preparing 8 to 10. A history of this going way back, We'll see if more get to step it up from here. Nice win last night old school sounds like the boys stepped it up, we also played eveleth this year as you stated, had them down 3-1 with about 7 mins left. gave it away.but didnt think they were as good as virginia who used a 2 by 4 on our butts{aka spanking]. Wadena vs dl? 4or 5-2 wadena.

I think Wadena will play well now that lil Pettit is back. lil Pettit is the 2nd or 3rd best forward in the section and anyone who's seen him play should agree. He'll make a huge impact right a way. He's usually good for 2 goals a game and I expect his production to continue. The game coming up against DL will be a fun one. I think Wadsvill will come out on top in a close one 3-1. clyclone, give it up man...........are you from Little Falls???? because so far all of you new guys from little falls are the only ones who have really gotten offended by warroadsalt.............. warroadsalt as I have learned is from WADENA. He rarely talks about Warroad, though he makes comparisons, wich what the heck???? all these teams play in the same league....he says his controversial opinions and that is perfectly fine....do you guys just lack confidence???or what??? I mean, this kid and me earlier in this thread were just arguing for their team and saying what they think about the others, though controversial, this is a hockey board, not a cheerleading one so don't get your feelings hurt.... anyway, warroadsalt, keep on keepin' on........(you a couple posts back).............how's fishin'??? On to more stuff: Fergus Falls has about 9 games left and easily could have a nine game winning streak to end the season........I'm not betting it, but anything more than three losses the rest of the year would be dissapointing, i could live with 4......next game, Fargo Shanley in Fergus, then, at Bemidji, then the showdown with Wadena I think........

I don't think that Fergus has a chance at a nine game winning streak because they just aren't as good of a team as the old teams. FF had their time during the mid 90's to the early 00's but the next five years belong to Little Falls.

I agree. Anyone who is familiar with LF's program knows their best years are coming up. They have a deep pool of talent in all age groups and will be a legitimate contender in future state tournaments. Wadena was a one year wonder and won't be a factor in section 4A for a long time to come. In the future LF will have to contend with Alex and Fergus Falls for section titles not Wadena. As far as this year the 4A section title is Little Falls to loose. For all the hype this forum gives Wadena the truth is they are a below average team who could easily get knocked off early in the section playoffs. Little Falls and Fergus Falls will square off in the title game with LF winning easily. OK you guys can let me have it.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Wadena is not below average at all. They got smoked bad by the flyers but so did the Otters. Wadena was without their star. The Otters were fully loaded. Old wadsvill has a real shot at they Otters and I think they'll make the best of it. The Flyers still have to win the section title. The seasons not over yet. When wadsvill kicks around the Otters on the 25th then will someone admit wadsvill is good. At least #2 in the section. Wadsvill gets another crack at the flyers on the 11th. Wadena will be fully loaded and will give the flyers a real game.

Brainerd had the horse shoe in its back pocket against l.Falls. Perhaps they underestimated them after the Duluth East like they did with Tech, Brainerd has a habit of playing to the level of its opponent, l.Falls does not. L.Falls should be the one outta 4a if they don't start to think they are good. Just think of how much better l.Falls could be if they could keep te kids from Pierz, WOW!

Idiots............again, you morons spout off on anything... Just because little falls is having the team of their history has nothing to do with the fact that Fergus should beat everyone else on their regular season schedule, that shows inconfidence and idiocy..........alright, salty, and your brother, sorry, whatever and you still rock................. Fergus Falls was NOT loaded when they played Little Falls, they were missing Isaac Vatnsdal and Jed LePlante, both very important pieces to the team.....no excuses, but they were not loaded......... I would be willing to bet that the Flyers with the luck of the Vikings and all LOSE in the seciton final or before. They will be overconfident going into the tournement and someone, maybe prarie centre, maybe morris, could give them a scare, then the slightly better team in the semi's, bam, knocks them out.....or if the Otters and Flyers meet in the finals, it will be a different game completely for Fergus, as I said of Little Falls, as you have said for Brainerd, I will say for Fergus, overconfidence ruined them at Little Falls..............oh yeah, koonta, Wadena is decent, I still say this is the closest section race in section 4a.....no one has it locked up as these guys from the east think they all of a suddent do.............

Thanks Oldschool for having my back, you basically said exactly what I was going to say. Also, Sorry to my borther, but someone asked me what "exactly" I had against the coaches in Wadena, so I answered them, and if they get their panties all up in a bunch, so be it. I also said that it would be helpful if they studied the game a little more it would go a long way. And yeah, I might have done some Partying when I was younger, but It was maybe about once every 3 or 4 months, and that was alot less than most of the people I played with that year, and Ive been clean for at least 4 years now. Im hoping that Little Falls makes a good showing if they make it to state, they arent very physical, so that will hurt them bad. Wadena should be more hyped, they are the underdog and they seem to be too relaxed like no one cares. Furgus might supprise someone too, they sound very consistant, that could help alot in the sections. Saw a great game yesterday, wasnt quite the 6-2 that koonta predicted, but it was a great game, hope someone else on here was there to watch probly the best game of the year <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

When you two finish swapping spit consider this. Wadena hasn't beat a quality team all year and to continue to try and pump life back into this dead horse (Wadena) is a joke. As far as LF playing physical they have the most physical defenseman in the area #2 Jim Pender. At 6-2 230 lbs. he has been knocking the stuffing out of opponents the last two years and players make a point out of staying out of his way. I can't understand why its so hard to give LF credit for their year so far. As far as being overconfident that will never happen, they've been knocked out of the section championship game to many times not to take the playoffs very seriously.
