One player does not make a physical team, sorry to point that out to you, and "some" of us are giving Little Falls a little credit for the great season they have had, also, most of us can see a good next few years for them, but what should we do, bow down to you and your favorite team and just give up. Another thing, no one gave WDC any dredit for their almost undefeated team last year, they fought for it, but it never really came, so get used to it, plus they didnt do a whole lot down at state, hope the same doesnt happen to Little Falls

Lf can be very physical if the other team is physical with them. If team playing Lf isn't physical they beat you with their speed. Also the Lf third line is very physical and their younger defensemen are physical as well.

just for the record, if wadena didnt beat a quality team in dl, which your coveted little falls team lost to...what does that say of little falls?

im not saying that little falls is not better, cuz that they have on wadena right now. what i said is in response to what peter jiggs said about them being below average and not beating anyone good.

Sorry buddy, but Jim Pender, allthough very physical, isn't the most physical defenseman in the area, I've seen him play 3 or 4 times this year and he's not as physical as Mic Johnson #18 of Fergus Falls. You should see the hits this guy has been dishing out. Overall Fergus has the most physical team in the section. And I'm NOT being biased on this. TJ Gaustad and Matt Wackliwik, yea they're small guys, are the next two, outside of Pender, most physical guys in the section. These two are smoking people all over the place as well. Matt's most of the time are when others are trying to hit him, he sticks the puck between his legs and destroys kids. And TJ is very good at going into the corner and lighting people up. Geez, I almost forgot about Mike Schwarz and Jed Leplante. Two more monstors. Little Falls has 1 guy, Wadena doesn't have many. Fergus is small, but they got some bite.

Wadena lost to Little Falls 6-0. How can you talk like Wadena is the best? I can think of every excuse in the book (whether they happened or not, I am unsure) and counter it....... We started our back up goalie....yeah but you still didn't score any goals. We were missing some key players.....you didnt score any goals and gave up six, would they make a difference? We played with our Squirt C team....you still lost 6-0 to little falls. you should really deal with it... its 1:30 am, im tired, and that was some serious nonsense and ramblage.

Just because people are talking about WDC doesnt mean they think they are the best, in fact looking back I cant see any posts in the last few pages that say, WDC is going to woop in the sections or anything close to them being the best, prove me wrong and find one. Otherwise stop telling people shut up about WDC, especially since the most talk about WDC is coming from fools saying that they suck, and have no chance. They are the underdogs watch out, remember last year, little falls beat WDC at home-(I think), but still lost in section finals, there is always a chance, fools.

No chance? Hmm, doesnt everyone in Section 4a get to play in the section playoffs? Yes, oh that would be called a chance, STUPID!!!!! So technically CIA has the same chance to win as Little Falls.

I'm sure there is an explanation but could anybody tell me why there are so few teams assigned to 4A. I know region plays a part but even with the addition of another school next year 4A is still a small section.

i dont understand this backup goalie nonsense. you guys beat wadena and you think its the greatest win ever...but really it means nothing except for at the seeding meeting, you didnt win the section. and yes, it is possible that one player makes a difference. besides pettit creates chances, his being out threw the forward lines out of order. look at what little falls did against brainerd with and without festler. hmmmm...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat"> and if you want to compare other games still, how about little falls not showing up against dl??? is it possible another team did the same? wow! its a miracle. no one on here debates little falls is good, and nobody on here is saying wadena and fergus are better...but the little falls fans i must say are giving themselves a bad name. you are a cocky bunch, and im not saying it will happen, but that may come back to bite you guys in the a$$.

Man we need to raise the level of conversation here. I agree its getting pretty juvenile. One of the teams that hasn't been discussed much and who isn't that bad is Morris/Benson. I'm not sure how their overall program is coming along but their varsity team is'n't a just a push over anymore. They could easily surprise other teams down the road.

Wadena just beat DL 3-1. lil Pettit with 3 points. (2 goals) Wadena played great they piled the shots on early and play solid D late. Nice to see wadena jell again.

Actually, it was WDC 2-1 over DL. Pettit and Maas with the goals. A great game by both teams and a lot of fun to watch. WDC wins the Mid State with the victory.

Who keeps Wadena,s stats? I was looking at stats and video highlights on the WDC school website the other day. I see in the PR game that #13 is given credit for an assist on the game winning goal. If you watch the video he doesn't even touch the puck, he skates into view well after the goal is scored.
