"If it aint broke don't fix it " the problem is it is broke, wadena didn't score a goal against the top team in the section (LF). Its got to be broke especially when you get shutout at home. Postel doesn't impress me much

There was no plan for LF to control Postel, it just happened that everybody wanted a piece of him. Wolden didn't make #2 do a backflip that was #4, big accomplishment there<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I agree with fastice %100 percent, Postels moves work against crap teams, but I didnt see them working on Little Falls, and if they make it to state, it definately wil not work down there. Its a team sport, not a one man team. Warroad has some of the best defense in the state, and they skate end for end, but pass it way before they go past their own blue line. The puck can move faster than any player, unless the players dont know how to pass or catch passes because they are too busy trying to school everyone.

damn my eyes are going bad i thought it was number 2 that got laid out ,anyways i watched the vidio hehehe it was number 2!Backside down. Again you guys at little falls have a great offense, but you have given up almost twice the points this year compared to wadenas defense, defenseman isnt what you are known for, .Hell shutting down wadena without petit isnt that hard, long praire only let in one more than you guys. Postel stays at number one in section 4 at defense in my book.

LF 3 Apollo 1 Missed the game but sounded like a good match up. No score until late in the 3rd period.

Puck you have got to be kidding. With the tomato can schedule Wadena plays you could pull your defense and most of the teams would still have trouble scoring. As far as LF #2 he has been knocking the crap out of Wadena players for the last two years to the point they're afraid of him and he still has a year to go. Like I stated before, Pettit is a nice player but he is far from a standout. There are at least five 4A defeseman better than he is including Pender. Any team that gets slaughtered like Wadeana did should probably keep quite so they don't look any more foolish than their team played. Where was Postel during the LF game, I'll tell you he was helping the goalie dig the puck out of the net on 6 separate occasions. settle down jiggsy, a little banter{trash talk} is fun on here, i can assure you nobody knows who pender is here in wadsville, for sure nobody is afraid of him{above mites} and that schedule thing is valid we are working hard to improve it ,next year we are taking dl off our schedule they haven't beat anybody all year, {aka trash talk} On the serious side, section 4a is getting more competitive and thats a good thing, At the fergus game i noticed the line of banners for section 4 champs, looks great but looks like more teams getting chances to string them up now and in the future. Last nights wadena= morris benson game had a little testosterone release at the end, sounds like 5 or 6 players got a game eject,even though it was over at the time{Carry's over to the next game}

The reason you don't know who pender is because you guys from wadena are too caught up in your own team always talking about how good pettit and postel are even though they don't even compare to the standout duo of Festler and Lickteig for Little Falls they might have even more points combined than wadena's top 3 scorers. Give it up, Wadena is burnt toast come down to Little Falls on Feb. 11 and get another whippin and once again postel will be helping his goaltender pull the puck out of the back of the net. T. Wolden for WDC and three Morris-Benson players got game ejections for the bench clearing scuffle at the end of last night's 5-3 WDC win. Ugly and embarrassing. The refs completely lost control of the game by the half way point of the second period and both teams took advantage and got very chippy. Too bad it had to end with both benches clearing and no hand shakes at the end of the game.

wadena fans are so caught up in there own team? sounds like you are just as caught up in festler and lickteig. but hey thats what being a fan is all about. festler is solid, i think postell had as many goals in the elite league as festler and he played offense and defense, lickteig didnt make the elite league last year (this isnt saying he isnt good by the way). pettit is only a sophomore by the way, and has a lot of knowledge to gain that will only make him better. also if he can make the select team again, that will contribute greatly. i would also hope that you're 2 great forwards could outscore a defenseman. pender is big and can hit, but he isnt a good skater...one on one he gets burned a lot. stearns is a darn good defender, and kvamme lays probably close to the amount of hits pender does...and hes a lot smaller. when it comes down to it though, hockey is a team game, and i honestly believe that pound for pound wadena will give little falls a much better game than the last time they played. people have argued about schedules forever, but what can the wadena people do about that??<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

OK, I get it LF is the best team in the section. This is not the first time i've said that. So what Wadena beat the Otters and Postel had a hell of a game. Watch the highlights no one touched him. Also where the Hell is the Maray hit? I hope Wadenas AD did'nt bow down to FF like he Did with PR. If the hit was bad like everyone is saying it should be on their. <a href="http://www.wdc2155.k12.mn.us/">www.wdc2 ...  Wadena is so much better than LF defensively not only has LF allowed more goals but Wadenas has 3 of the top Defense men class A. LF has 1 he snuck in their at the bottom. Also I don't think theres a real argument on goal tending. (www.geocities.com/dent0110/players2005.html) Now lets compare Postel and Pender. Postell has something like 29 points with 13 goals. Postel has more goals than Pender has points. Maybe thats why no one KNOWS who this kid is.

Man you guys are exhausting. I would hate to read these posts if you had beaten LF. Where were all these superstars when the LF game was actually played or do they save their good stuff for the CIA and Pequot Lakes type teams. As far as Postell and Pender they're two totally different style players and any coach would love to have them both. Kvamme or whoever he is, haven't noticed him, and comparing Pender's physical game to his is a total break from reality. I was just thinking we need to find more to talk about then this, its getting old. I hope Wadena does come to play in their next meeting with LF another 6-0 ass kicking wouldn't be good for either team going into sections.

I agree with jigs that u cannot compare Postel and Pender. Two way different styles. And this Kvamme kid...what has he done this year?, hit a kid pretty hard. Great job for him, I think he should get a medal. But comparing him and Pender, I think not. I would LOVE to see those two go head to head open ice and see who would win. Kvamme would probably cry. And while talking about him, can u say stick handling?...Kvamme can't stick handle or control the puck for his life(at least he couldn't against LF). And talking about Pender being slow and getting burnt, I think other than Postel and Stearns that every Wadena defenseman can't even stop LF's third line(now that's slow). On the other hand, Wadena does have a COUPLE good defense, but is it enough to stop LF?...We'll just see in about two weeks(i think thats when it is). You guys talk on how much tougher L F scheldule is than Wadenas , well look at the scores , you lost all but 1 to the teams we don't play ! And we lost a couple to ranked teams too ! Plus you lost to D L where Wadena beat them twice ? HMMM ! Or did you guys have a bad game against them like Wadena had against you !!! I was working the penalty box and had Pender in there for a 10 minute , seems like a nice kid , but how can he help a team from there ? He also told me he was booted out of a game just before Wadenas game !! Also had that Festler kid in the box , again , another nice kid , but was expecting someone bigger !! That line of his is really good , but without one or another , their just above average !! ( In that game ) Postell is , and will be the best def in sec 4 , not just that not to many get by him , but he's a threat in open ice , just like a fourth forward !! It will be intresting in the next meeting , don't know who will win , but it won't be a whoop ass again !! >Flagmanonice. Wow, this crap is just a whole bunch of crap. who cares which player is better, all the teams in the section are down and WDC and LF are fighting over the scraps of meat left on the bones, and they both better be careful before someone sneaks up behind them and snipes it from them both (Furgus). They are the underdogs, everyone has counted them out, my money is on them and no one will ever get to see Postel "school" people, or Festler's "speed" down at the excel. So quit arguing on absolutely no facts, and completely all on biasness who is the better player. Also, Meet the Fockers is funny, haha.

Hey guys, Congrats Wadena, good win, it must have been fun. You know, awhile back my dad and a dad from LF were talking at one of my youth games against LF. That guy had said that he cannot wait untill Little Falls gets to compete with Fergus Falls, Moorhead etc............(in dist 15 these are typically the top half...........) .....well man, here it is, must be sweet for you guys........wadena too. I had been saying the such for years without much people listening to me but eventually EVERYONE will have a good year and build a nice program...... A couple things to chew on: Wadena's was a nice win, a huge loss for Fergus and good game, but , 4-3 and getting outshot would not put Wadena squarely ahead, I mean, they will land #2 and be the home team in Alex against Fergus, but, they have to get there and so does Fergus, wich almost didn't last year............Little Falls is very much the #1 seed, however, they are NOT the unbeatable shoo in champions everyone thinks they are like Fergus was 7 years in a row (no bragging but you guys know the feeling I am talking about) a loss to sauk rapids proves that work has to be done. This will still go down as the closest race in the short history of section 4 and whoever should win, I will throw down for you.....trust me Wadena adn Little Falls, doesn't matter in the x-cell in March, take a look at the history and Fergus' record and the teams they beat.....trying to boost confidence a little............whoever wins this dogfite should be ready for it...... As far as Tuesday's game, good game, I already congratulated you, tough loss to a player, .....however...Fergus outshooting Wadena says two things: Fergus had the chances, could get chances, but again, didn't finish,,,./....and it says that the Wadena goalie is no slouch..........anyone heard of the Crookston game??????.................anyways....should be fun to close out the year and look to sections....get it together Fergus, or another year of regrets is ahead....

Lets stop ripping and bragging up individual players, did you ever stop to think that they might read some of the absolute crap you guys write about them and maybe they have feelings that can be hurt. Kvamme is a big hitter, especially for a small kid, I would put my money on him coming out on top of almost every hit because of the element of suprise in his favor, other than if it was me, lol. But also big hitters often make lots of mistakes with the puck because they are looking too hard for a hit.

HAHA, guys get mad about what they see written about them on here? then they should not look at whats being said. I played Varsity hockey for my sophmore and junior seasons, and i quit this year. People would rip on me all the time on this board, id see it and laugh. If you can't take it, don't read it. *I retracted every part of my statement about bashing Kvamme. Wadena has bean on a roll lately winners of their last four. Including two nice wins against DL and FF. Wadena has not lost sense the LF game. Wadena is now 13-5-2. Salt, did Wadena go on that three game skid you predicted? Jiggs, is Wadena still a "joke" or "below average"? So for all you peeps who bean haters EAT IT Wadena is a solid team and WILL make a run at the section tittle.
