Re: section 4
alright fellas...since you're all obviously offended that i call your teams weak i'll let you have your fun...just for the record though...i never once said that fergus played all those teams did i oldschool? i don't think i did. i said it was funny that teams like that made up 3/4 of your section. sorry if the facts offend people. sorry to the wadena, little falls, fergus falls players if i have offended any of you. i'll stay out of your business from now on but i just think you're all really funny. i'm glad i have somewhere else i can talk about good games like low vs trf, warroad vs duluth marshall, egf vs trf, breck vs blake, dm vs bsm etc...instead of talking about willmar vs wdc and ff vs fargo north. for the last time as i bow out of your weak ass section 4 discussions...good luck at state. good thing you're drawing section 2 so it's not such a blowout. peace.

Re: wolfpack
I like small falls as a team. But I dont see any 4A team winning their first round game against probably Duluth Marshall this year.

Wolfpack
Wolfpack, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. 4A is doing fine and doesn't need your negative spin. Where just fine picking on each other<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

Re: wolfpack
was a mirror, classy program cause hes out till the mirrors fixed, one parent ejected for language, one for being in an area restricted and shaking hands with ref, The remainder of the game went well in the stands and i feel grateful for the rest of willmers fans that weren't happy about the refs but were very respectable about there behavior, and i thank them for attending our arena. I think their might have been an issue, believe it or not from bantams 4 years ago that had the one fans dandruff up feeling he got homered in wadena. I know i still coach and i get homered in wadena every game i have there. A lot of broken sticks in that game im thinking 400 to 600 bucks worth all on slashes. One player broke a stealth with a wicked 2 hander, 200 bucks right there i heard. Number 13 is fine but he did have a target on his arms and hands took several hard hacks including the stealth. still haven't got my section predictions in line yet. Will before monday. Hey warroadsalt fish biting?

Saw this on another thread:

wolfpack85
Registered Member
Posts: 34
(2/9/05 10:08 pm)
Reply Justa settle down buddy...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey buddy sorry if I happened to offend you. I said a win somebody might call a fluke...not that it was an absolute fluke. I made what I thought was a valid arguement. I don't think I was out of line in saying what I said. I thought LOW would make a great case for the 2 seed but maybe I'm wrong. Also, I'm not a LOW fan. I'm a section 8A fan. I love hockey, especially in Northwestern Minnesota and I would have to consider myself a semi-knowledgeable hockey fan. If I'm not please let me know. Otherwise I'm done here. Kudos to TRF for taking down the 2 seed. Good luck to all the teams in the tourney! Show those section 4A ***holes what real hockey's all about.

Re: wolfpack
geeeze flagman, i love hockey, you say, and then rip on all of section 4a. Please remember if not for developing sections like 4a, section 8a would look alot worse, if you have no one to compare your mighty 8a to, your the best but also the worse. I remember posting in a section 8a thread and was told to get lost. So i decided to stay in this one, hummmmm makes sense.

Easy Pucks, Flag was showing us what that Wolfpup punk was saying I think.

Re: gameface
Hey Jiggs, yer boys got their gameface on for the Cards? I'm thinking they'll be a little better behaved in the stands tonite. Maybe they'll leave that Mouth-from-the-South home to scream at his radio! Hey Good Luck to all! Most everybody is playing tonite or Friday or both.

Re: gameface
From what I hear LF should be ready to go with all their kids back and clicking. They shouldn't have problems with Willmar or Wadena if they just play they're game. They lose to either of these teams they will be in the hurt bag and listening to a little screaming will the least of their worries. Now you made me late for class typing this B.S.

I think that it will be LF and WDC in the section 4a championship game But i have a gut feeling that the little town of Wadena is going to make it to state but thats just a gut feeling

playoffs
im guessing that it will be Fergus falls and little falls against eachother in the playoffs. I do not think the otters will loose again to Wadena after last year in sections. Also in the championship game I am guessing that it will be a close one with either team winning by no more than 2 goals.

FF vs TRF
This game has the making of the beginning of a rivalry. W/ Berglund leaving FF to be an assistant at TRF you know Fergus will be up for it. Donohue should be desperate for a win in this game, cuz if he doesn't people will be saying how FF would've been better off if Berglund stayed. I think it'll be an intense game w/ a lot of hitting. I just hope I can be in the stands for it. I have a night class that I'm taking so I have to see if I can miss it to attend.

Good luck to both teams

flyers vs. wadena
I believe it will come down to these two teams, with little falls winning by three plus goals and contrary to most others I believe that they will put a respectable show down at state. when they get j.festler back they will regain their team and do what they were doing earilier on in the year. they have too much offense for the rest of the section and hopefully enough to make a little noise at state to prove that although their section is weak, they are starting some good things in little falls and you will be hearing from them in the future.

Re: FF vs TRF
Little Falls 1 Willmar 0

LF got the win bit didn't look very sharp, Willmar played well enough to win but couldn't get anything past LF's goalie Kluver. LF better pick up the pace they were at earlier in the season or they can forget about any state tourney. Also whichever coach is putting out the defense needs to get his head in the game and pay attention. Wadena and LF tomorrow night, should be interesting.

duluth marshall
what ever team comes out of this section, whether it's FF or LF, (not WDC) will more then likely be matching up with the 3rd ranked team in state, Duluth Marshall, do you guys think any of these teams even have somewhat of a shot? I wanna hear some opinions.

the defense has been LF down-fall all year someone posted the score 1-0 the defense must have played decent. it will take all of LF defense to play in the section because they are so up and down you never know who will play good from game to game.
at least the games i saw.

Re: FF vs TRF
easternglow check your filament ,your bulbs not very bright. Picking ff or lf is 2 out of three, good pick but not many in this section beleive wadena is done. Jiggs your right anything could happen tomorrow night. Could be another 6/0 game and it could be another year where these 2 teams cant win this game in their own arena. Willmar is an up and down team so you guys only winning by 1 doesnt mean crap to me, i still feel the number one seed is lf and wadena would have to beat them big to get that away from them. With cia teachers on strike one seed doesnt play till alex. Dont think ild want a week off this time of year. Will praire center get number 4 or willmar. They have one tie in section 4 games and willmer has no tie or win.

Re: Willmar
LF may have not had their best game last night, but the Cards ain't gonna roll over and play dead either. They were one of the pre-season favs and showed they could upset somebody if not taken seriously. Puckwerestones, were you at the game? Were shots pretty even too? I know they were real close against WDC until late. What happened in the Morris-Benson/Prairie Center game? Can anybody from there fill us in? Also a couple upset-minded teams there! LF-WDC tonite! FF-trf also! Wish I was twins so I could go to both.

LF & Willmar
Lets hear more about this game! Does anyone know the shots, when the goal was scored, any posts hit by Willmar or LF? This game could be huge for Willmar and a huge confidence boost for everyone else in section 4A, Fergus Falls rolled over Willmar 6-1, is Little Falls playing some bad hockey lately or what is going on? Lets hear some details!

willmar, lf
shots were 22-18 in favor of little falls. it seemed as though little falls was tired and played that way for most of the game. willmar did hit a couple posts in the third i think, had some good chances....but im not sure why willmar didnt pull the goalie earlier.
