Yeah, Wadena will lose to Little Falls, (IF THEY GET THERE)....because they will be too beaten up and worn out from the Fergus game................that is, IF they get that far.................and we'll see if Sauk wins, I'm not really sure on that one, it would not be a shock if Willmar won, have they ever played?????? well we'll see....

Locknload it seems to me you were on here before under a different name because you only have 18 posts but I swear I heard you talking earlier in this thread. Here are my picks before the games start Wadena 5 Peqout 0 Fergus 3 Morris Benson 1 (en) Prairie Center 2 Willmar 1 (OT) No upsets really even if Willmar wins you could hardly call it an upset. WDC defeated Pequot 5-0. Shots were 43-3 for WDC. Pequot did not get a shot on net until near the end of the second. Fergus defeated Morris-Benson 8-1. No result yet on Prairie Center-Willmar. Wadena killed tonight! Its good to see Wadsvill playing with such energy. Wadena was defensively suffocating out there tonight. Wadsvill vs FF in the semis. Wadena 4-1 over the starless Otters.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Fergus Falls completely dominated Benson/Morris tonight! The Otters came out strong and never quit. Every line for the otters scored including their 4th line. If I remember correctly last time Wadsville played B/M they won only 5-3, and they had what.... 3 power-play goals against B/M. I don't think Fergus scored more than 1 PP goal tonight, one was close the time had just expired but I think it was counted as Full Strength. FF has got their defense going great, and finally the offense is doing their jobs and burying their chances. The Otters are defiantly peaking at the right time in their season and when they go to Alex, to play Wadsville they will have the whole team back because Goos has got the OK to play. Well sounds like it was a great night of hockey, See ya all in Alexandria!

And then there was four.......The only surprise really tonight that no one thought of earlier in the season is Prarie Centre....I would've picked Willmar two months ago, but this is why they play, high scoring game in sauk too, was it 7-5??? anyway, Alex will be fun and it just set in like a night at the fights, first you got the lesser of the games, the one that should go Little Falls by 4 goals plus, and then you got the heavywheight title bout, Fergus Falls and Wadena, the only two past chamions left.........Sauk could give Little Falls a run for their money but it would definitely be a barn burner and then whatever is left of the barn will be kindled up again and obliterated by the Fergus Falls v Wadena game..... in my mind, my predictions: whoever wins Fergus Falls v Wadena will win the chamionships. Little Falls got a game off tonight, then in all likelihood will annhiilate Prarie Centre, only to come into a game with a battle hardened underdog and WILL NOT walk on them like they did before. This showdown in Alexandria at 8 pm on Friday night will again be an awesome game for the ages, probably better than last year: Wadena, looking to defend it's first championship ever, a little down this year, but plenty of personel from last year's campaign who want to prove themselves after an embarrasment at the show a year ago.....against: Fergus Falls, winners of 7 consecutive championships before none other than Wadena stopped them last year. A much improved Fergus Falls team is bitter from a down and out season last year and still have faces that have seen state tournement action who want it again.....two champions, a dynasty and a heartbreaker.....should be fun, no predictions yet, I have to talk to the street first, expect an awesome game and don't drink too much fluid before the game, with all that excitement you don't want to be waiting in line for a pisser in the middle of the game..... good luck to all.......

Hey oldschool, thanks for great review/preview. I'm thinking both games went as expected for FF & WDC last nite. I have to give alotta credit to PL goalie. Man he gets pounded on the whole game but never throws in the towel like some goalies will after 2 1/2 periods. Hopefully they can give him a few wins to remember next year as they will have most of their squad returning to build on. Good to hear FF's walking wounded will be ready for Friday so should be a great matchup. I don't think WDC has anybody out right now. And a big CONGRATS to PC on their win last night. There's a group that started out the year not knowing everbody on their own team but you could see them starting to gel as the season went on. You guys are coming around at the perfect time! And, no Pucks, I didn't forget the coffee I promised you. I just didn't get over to your corner of the arena. I'll catch up with you in Alex. I'm sure we'll all be there. GOOD LUCK!!!

Little Falls should easily get their win over PC. The game between FF and Wadena should be fun to watch. I'm going with Wadena by 2. Whoever wins this game will face LF in the finals and will have their hands full. LF has shown that they have the ability to bury Wadena and any team as inconsistent as FF has to be wondering which tire is going to fall off their wagon this time. FF hasn't proved anything to anybody and it would be a shame to send a 4A team with a losing record to the state tourney. LF will be the next 4A champs.

Sure, Jiggs, FF was not the most consistent team this year. And yes they do not have a winning record. What your not realizing is that they play the most difficult schedule in section 4A and almost all of the games they lost they only lost by one goal. It sounds like to me that LF is praying that Wadena can take FF out so that they don't have to face the otters in the championship game down in Alex. I really do not think this will happen the otters are playing great hockey and cant wait to take it to Wadsville, Don't get me wrong it will be a great hockey game but im guessing the Otters will win it in the third and it will be around a 6-3 game. Then in the section championship they will beat LF because they wont have played a strong team in quite some time.

Sounds to me like you need to get realistic. LF is healthy and faster than ever. Lickteig and Festler are at the top of their game and LF's goalie Kluver is the best in the section. Neither FF or Wadena has the depth or talent to match up to LF. Those are the actual facts. LF would have to play a very poor game to lose in the finals and I seriously doubt that will happen. Wadena hasn't come close to LF and FF hasn't done squat except pin their hopes on a close loss to TRF. Trust me LF would much rather play FF than Wadena, they've already beaten FF in their own building and in my opinion Wadena is the better team and would give LF the best game. LF hasn't lost a section game all year and they sure as hell are not intimidated by two teams they've already stomped.

Peterjiggs you hit the nail on the head. LF isn't scared of Wadena or FF they just can't look over PC which shouldn't be a game. Oldschool how can you pick the winner of FF and WDC over the Flyers when LF is undefeated in the section and destroyed both of these teams every time they played them also in the past two year LF is 5 and 2 vs FF and Wadena. Wadena gave LF a much better game than the otters did. A bounce here or there and its a much different game. Wadena also took it to Fergus in Fergus. The Otters don't scare Wadena at all. Fergus has no star that can take over a game. Like they had ever time they went to state. miller Anderson Kantrud Perry... Wadena is the better team and will beat the Otters on Friday. place should be packed for this one.

I still have this feeling that FF is going to hit a high, and take the sections, if Im wrong, some one else will, lol. They need to play their solid game like they do against the tuff teams in their schedule, but they also need to put the puck away, Little Falls is going to lose I just know it. Good luck to whomever makes it to state, and I hope its WDC.

I've been watching this site for a while and I have come to one conclusion. LF is 8-0 in the section and all others (FF and Wadena fans/players) are having a hard time accepting the fact that they will be the section champion. Another thing I have noticed is that Warroad Salt has some harsh feelings towards LF. Where does all the hate come from salt?

if you don't know Salt, he has connections to the WDC team so... the LF-WDC rivalry stretches all the way to Warroad, sort of.

Anyway, the last time I heard, being outshot 2-1 and havign to come back against a team is NOT taking it to them.....maybe I'm outa the game too much I don't know..... I guess you guys are right though, Fergus Falls has not proven anything....nothing at all...however they did not lose to Sartell, they beat Sauk Rapids, smoked Detroit Lakes not losing to them 4-2..or beating them 3-1, they won 5-1 with a sophomore goalie that was in his first Varsity game........they have not proven much, but Wadena adn especially Little Falls have nothing to brag about other than beating Fergus who you all think is so horse crap yet it is the biggest accomplishment for Waden and the only thing that Little Falls has really accomplished this year................nice though, I liked it, smells like fear.........not teen spirit....FEAR....... I said that the winner of the Wadena v Fergus Falls game will win the championship because I meant it. Bottom line is: this is Little Falls year, they have soundly beaten the other two contenders in the section, (though they only got one shot at Fergus) and appear to be well on their way to the X-Cell Energy center in the beginning of March to start a tradition. Bottom line is, they have to do less than Fergus Falls EVER had to do in 7 years to get to the state tournement. THey had last night off, they have a game that they should win on Friday night, preceeding the heavyweight title bout. However, Fergus Falls has a sickness called, overlookingitis. You all know it that this sectuion is as wide open as it ever has been. Little Falls may get that illness on Friday night, you never know, then they won't even get a shot, and don't say it can't happen (remember Sartell ?????).....these kids appear to be playing good and no one in section four will really be agianst a team like Prarie Centre against a team like litte falls. If Little Falls wins easily as it should against the Streeters, they will probably get "punchdrunk" being in the section title game against a team that they have soundly beaten this season in a game they should win to go to their very first ever State Hockey Tournement....on the other side of the rink is a former section champion, ( either team will have experience in winning a section title)....and they also had to beat the other of the top 3 the section, not get by with a lesser team that they wore out. They will be "battle hardened" ready for anything because I PLEASE BAN ME you not, that game on Friday night will be nothing like anything since the #2 under .500 Otters took the #1 5 loss Lakers to OT and stung them..............get it yet???? (oh yeah, I almost forgot, the one loss Wadena team embarrassed Section 4a last year at the State Tournement worse than any sub .500 Otter team did, remember, the Otters won at least one game every year except two and ALWAYS lost to the champion or runner up to end their title hopes, not exactly as bad as what? 7-1 and 9-0????? give me a break.......you know it man, ...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat"> )....

Face it oldschool Fergus isn't as good as it was in years past FF had their glory years in the 90's but the next 10 years belong to Little Falls and dare I say Wadena. Fergus will not win another section championship for another 5 years at least. Coach Couture is too good of a coach to allow his team to look over PC. The Iceman Little Falls 2005 Section 4A Champs

Oldschool must be off his meds if he actually believes all his own B.S. Might want to swing by the State Hospital and get a quick tuneup. I don't think posting hundreds of bs posts is what makes you credibale, GET IT. What is this battle hardened, overlookingitis, punchdrunk, garbage. Sounds like your trying to cast a spell. If FF thinks they can ride through this section on the coattails of past teams success they are setting themselves up for an ass kicking. Both Wadena and LF are better teams in all respects and both teams have huge hearts something FF has been lacking all year. You just stay on your knees and keep praying and with a little luck maybe you will be rewarded with another loss you can brag about, (TRF).
