warroad vs class AA

I seriously think slinger needs to light up some. Warroad had a wonderful season, beat the best of class A and some of class AA. They went unbeaten and have a team loaded with D-1 talent. Yet all most people can do is bash them for not being in AA and proveing they are as good as we say they are. Would they win AA maybe, maybe not, they wouldnt be a push over that i can promise you. Instead of fighting lets just be happy we can still have some of the best hockey to watch. Warroad or the AHA both two great teams and the best this state has to offer this season. <p></p><i></i>

warroad11.......Listen... Im from up north... I support Northern Hockey... Sure, this year warroad could have competed in the AA... would they have won? I dont know... its a different wear and tear... bigger players... deeper benches... I mean... Lord knows I cheer for the North teams... gunslinger, i'm with you man. please fess up. other than the "raised" on the farm (factory) marvin kid on the team where did the other guys come from? locals or transplants? that town is just too small to produce that kind of hockey talent...let's be real. or is this a northern secret? <p></p><i></i>

My hope is that in the coming years the Rams from Roseau can win the AA state tournament and the Warriors of Warroad will win class A in the same season. Nothing would be more exciting than having the 2 state champs in each others back yard, 21 miles apart. It could happen and would be great for the game! <p></p><i></i>

stupid subject, its actually a better idea to put all the crappiest hockey teams in A and all the good ones in AA, so that the competition is the greatest every year for the AA tourny to attract more people to the state tourny games they are already selling out, and take more people away from the A tourny because the 6,500 that were at the championship game is just way to many people for that level of competition <p></p><i></i>

Warroad had a very nice team that could beat anybody on a given night. So could about 40 teams in the state of Minnesota which is proven weekly.<br><br>Warroad played 2 teams in the top 15 in AA going 1-0-2. So in three games against solid AA competition they had two blemishes. They tied Moorhead in ONE game. Yippee! Stillwater beat WBL who beat Moorhead so what does that say? Nothing!<br><br>If Warroad played a schedule like WBL, Centennial, Duluth East, or Jefferson the 4 toughest schedules according to PagStat they would most likely have numerous losses.<br><br>Relying on two lines will work playing Albert Lea, STA and Totino but not in a 3 day AA tourney. GNHogger, do youknow anything about Northern MN? Of course those small teams can produce great talent. Tally up the Championships from Roseau,Warroad,Eveleth,Greenway,Hibbing, etc.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
