Holy Angels has has a solid run, no question about that. But Holy Angels did nothing until Jefferson left the section. You want proof of that? Go check out those brackets that Eagles93 made. The first two years that he made they didn't do much.

AHA won 3-2. Didn't we already establish this? AHA won, and congrats to them. Its one game, and a close one at that.

P.S.- Thank you, hattrick. Jefferson probably would have scored any way, they played good the last ten seconds. Jefferson had one bad period against AHA, and it cost them.

They didn't control the game. Jefferson controlled the first period, and led 1-0. AHA controlled the 2nd, and they got the lead 2-1. The 3rd was fairly even, and AHA won 3-2. Keaton's play in the first saved them, then the offense got going in the second.

Kinda' interesting.....gotpuck in reading through the posts - it's extremely obvious that you just you just want to downgrade BJ in most all of your posts. Season is over....give them the pat on the back they deserve. I didn't read any AHA bashing on this thread. AHA did not control the whole game. Second period they had the advantage.

Let's get back on topic................05-06<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Got Schmuck

Post by Bookhout21 »

Ignore Gotpuck as he or she is obviously either a kiddie or an adult with an inferiority complex and a fifth grade vocabulary. I say congrats to AHA, but to say they dominated the Jags is intellectually bankrupt, so Gotpuck isn't worth the time. I don't know why a few AHA fans feel the need to dump in a 6AA thread and bring up AV this and EP that, I guess it's just a lack of class on their part that they just can't help.

Interesting that there was a 3-way tie for leading scorer at state in AA at 6 pts between Bariball, Overman, and Levine.

There, I'm done, onward and upward to 05-06. The rumor about Jaskowiak returning to Jefferson is way off base, it's possible but way too early to even think seriously about it. That's probably the 5th or 6th kid "coming back" rumor I've heard in the past 2 weeks. There are also 2 kids RUMORED to be open enrolling into Jefferson for next year, both D's.

I'll say this: if 2 quality D's of Jaskowiak's level or close come in, returning or open enrolling, the Jags will be instant Lake and 6AA heavy favorites.

Bookhout- I like the way you think. If all these rumors are true there is no way the Jags wont come out on top. They have seniors like Shupe, Hovey, LaBombard and of course Austin Lee (who, yes, cracked under pressure but that doesnt change the fact that he is an amazing goalie) But none the less we cant under estimate any of the other teams in 6AA, i can only hope the Jags can keep their skill level up and come out on top once again.

Edina

Post by BabyBlueFan4Life »

Edina is a team that intrigues me. The last couple years they have been solid, but haven't done much in sections. Their bantam A team went 15-1 in the league, I believe. If they can keep these kids at Edina, they would have a very talented a young squad, but lacking experience. History isn't on their side as usually most of these kids head elsewhere. If Giles can keep them, they could be a dangerous team.

I haven't heard anything about players coming from EP, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

Jefferson loses are significant..Look for Edina to return

Post by sloppyice »

Jefferson had a great year. A big reason that Overman and Levine had the points they did is CONNELLY. He alone controlled the transition game for Jefferson until the AHA
game. He was on the ice at least 50% if not 70% of the game. Jefferson may return some talent but they lost
way more than they will return next year.

Edina will return up to 9 letterman, all of whom show significant ice time last year. 4 of the 9 are defenseman.
The JV team had an outstanding year and there will be a couple of sophmores from the Bantam As that will also step in. Giles did a good job this year with only 1 letterman
returning that played a full year of varsity hockey the previous year. Do not underate this team. They will deep, fast with good defenseman.

But we are a year away and it will depend on
who works the hardest in the offseason and gels
during the season....
