i just saw on espn that the college hockey championship was gonna be on on ESPNU which as far as i know is only available on satellite or if u special order...does anyone else know about this? is the championship game not going to be on regular espn like last year? <p></p><i></i>

The frozen four will still be on ESPN2 and ESPN. I believe the regionals are slated for ESPNU, but not this year. The NCAA Final is on ESPN. The semis will be on ESPN 2. The regionals (3/25-3/27) will be on ESPNU. Fox Sports Net has reached a carrier agreement with ESPNU to broadcast as many of the games as possible. The problem is that FSN already has some prior commitments.<br><br>For example, if the Gophers play in the regional final on 3/27 the game starts at 2:30 PM. However, Fox Sports North is broadcasting the T'Wolves/Clippers game at that time; therefore the Gopher game wouldn't be live. There are also some Twins pre-season games that may conflict with potential NCAA regional broadcasts.<br><br>In my opinion, the safest bets are: if you have DirecTV, subscribe to the "Sports Pack" on the morning of 3/25, and drop it the following Monday (3/2<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 8) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> . You'll be billed on pro-rated basis, probably around $1.60. If you have Dish Network or cable you can check out their sports packages, and see if the other regional sports networks are picking up games that Fox Sports North isn't, since I don't believe ESPNU is available outside of DirecTV. <p></p><i></i>
