No he's right, it started last year. I believe the dynan kid from orono won it. Every team has a canidate and the winner is seltected at the state tournament. <p></p><i></i>

Matt Greer from WBL got one last year as well thats why I think each team gets to award a player with a Hobey Baker Trophy. <p></p><i></i>

Actually, each team can award the Hobey Baker HS Character Award. It is not designed to be an "MVP" award. <p></p><i></i>

It is given for gentlemenly play. It is supposed to be awarded to the guy who walks away from fights and isn't in the penalty box every game. <p></p><i></i>

Yea, there is a Hobey Baker Award for the person on each team that demonstrates the best character or something like that. I think it is a good idea.
