Alex @ Moorhead 2-19-05

Post by hockeyplaya »

Well here we are not even 2 weeks later and Moorhead goes against Alex again. Can we expect same old Moorhead pounding Alex, or does Alex get a few lucky breaks and make a game out of it? I think it's going to be a closer game than most people think. That is if the penalties don't rack up.

Alex @ Moorhead

Well I think Moorhead has had its reign over 8AA for long enough, time for an upset, Morinville himself said in the fargo paper there could be a huge upset in 8AA. Well I'm calling it right now Alex pulls off a 3-2 victory while getting outshot 58-14. lol I'm gonna hear it for that one.

An upset over Moorhead would be huge, but also close to impossible. Moorhead is a team deep with talent, they are not going to get upset by Alex. It's funny how in every post they bring up the upset factor, and people actually believe it. I guess you can always say nobody knows and anything is possible, but not really.

Moorhead- 7
Alex- 1 (at best)

Moorhead will not lose to Alex. I think it will be similar to the last time they met. I say 9-1 Moorhead.

what u mean except goaltending hittle is one of the best senoirs right now in the state! he wont have a problem holding off his own town. Hittle plays through what has happen in the past. Goaltending is part of the game! And Moorhead has it!

right on seniornuts...the spuds have had solid goaltending since '01 when Chad Beiswenger was a junior. and it's only getting better with Beau Christian coming up next year.

don't get too over confident, This same group of kids pulled off an upset in bantams. I know some things have changed, but it does add to the possibilities. Is it definite that Hittle will play?

Ah who ever is playing in net may the best team win. Knowing who is in the next is a farsh, coach really dont know what to say to the boys, its a personal thing and Morenville hates Alex. so be it!!!
