Andrew,

Without knowing the teams entered in the Moorhead Tournament is is difficult to tell you about the competition. Also, not having seen your team, or knowing your League level in Canada and not knowing the city you are coming from, there is really now way to compare for you. I would warn you not to expect to come down and slaughter anyone. Like your team, Junior Gold A players have been playing all their lives and many are in communities that have so many people that they are just the victim of a numbers game. I know I have seen some Thunder Bay teams recently in Northern MN and WI tournaments that have not fared very well.

Hope you find what you are looking for and good luck in Moorhead.

Generally we normally beat the thunder bay teams, and the players that consist on our team have generally been high school playeres, and have played on recent double AA teams. We if your thinking we dont play hockey all that often, weve been playin since we learned to walk basically, dryden is a hockey town, i just hope we have some good competition down there, and we dont waster out time driving for 8 hours to get there.

Thanks,Andrew

Team EH!

take off eh!
You should have some decent competition up in moorhead. It sounds like you have a similar mix as we do here. JGA is comparable to a set below vasity hockey in MN, many of these teams would kill thier JV team from thier town, and many would beat some vasity teams from smaller areas. When you get through with your tourney jump back on here and let us know how it went and we can better answer the question the next time a canuk shows up. Enjoy the great white north, I'm gonna go put on my tuuk and grab a two-four.

dryen, is that close to igneace, ontario? My uncle used to put on a hockey camp up there and i think i remember driving though your town....just wondering
