EP's 3rd jerseys are unreal, if you are sporting those you deserve to win state. Although they should either way.

What about Lakeville?

Post by 1stinstate »

Ok EP will not win stae. why? because they coulsdnt even play against Lakeville, and they have a weak goalie.
Edina- These guys have a good offense but there is no defence. and Lakeville tied them. They also tied Burnsville who Lakeville beat 4-0.

Lakeville will win there are number one in state the whole year and just beat Roseville 8-0 in regions. There goalie is amazing and is no doubt the best goalie in the state. They have a realy fast offensive. and their defense is a hard checking crew.

ep kids should have a microphone

Post by auggie09 »

ep kids make me laugh, they should do standup....the title 2 years ago was legit, they beat jefferson (2nd place) 3 times as those two were the top two in state by far, the championship game was packed and a faulty OT goal won it, a better goal would have made for a better game... last year they 'beat' jefferson in the semis (absolute joke of an officiated game when jhs was leading with 5 mins left by two and 4 penalties were caled on them in that time span which put EP into the finals) and burnsville in the finals. This year their luck has run up, Edina will own them or Lakeville. Sorry boys but its just not your year for JGA, but your varsity squad is playing some of the best EP hockey i have ever seen.

im pretty sure EP outshot lakeville by 10 shots. I also am pretty sure Lakeville got killed by WBL yesterday and EP is already in state.

White Bear tries to pull a quick one and get some practice on the state tournament ice...however the morons scheduled ice on the wrong rink... they breed them real smart in wbl

ok here it is im not even gonna say who's gonna win state cause i don't have a clue. But i can tell you this whatever idiots think that EP is gonna win cause they have 3rd jerseys wake up that doesn't make your team better and come on the guy here that thinks it will be Edina cause they had big score early in the year wins like no one else has ever had those. Come on folks don't even bother asking this question yet. Theres still all the time for injuries and s*** to happen that you can't begin to think who will win. Now please go ahead and be positive for your teams and cheer them on but lets not jump to conclusions. I hate to use some of you as examples but tell me, do you think grand rapids would win state if they were all decked out in new colors, jerseys, helmets, the works, and yes including a third jersey. Does that make them state material? I don't think so. If your gonna argue that your team is gonna win use good facts and wait till ya got em.

Eden Prairie looks tough

Post by DGREATGNAZZINI »

With 8 players returning from last year's 3rd place squad, 6 seniors cut from this year's varsity and 6 players moving up from the Region Champion U16 team, Eden Prairie Looks tough.

Other teams to look out for.
Wayzata <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D">
Edina <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /alien.gif ALT="0]">
Lakeville <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /devil.gif ALT=":evil">
Burnsville <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">
Minnetonka <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">
Whitebear Lake <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">

top teams

Post by mnhockey009 »

From waht i can tell so far this year, i would have to say wayzata, ep, and edina will be the top three teams, altough it is less than a month into the season. wayzata lost a couple real good players from its state champ team last, ep is deep as usual and i heard the edina's varsity took a lot of seniors so that wouldn't help there junior gold out much, but im sure they will have plenty of good players.
I look forward to see how the season progresses.

I would have to agree that EP, Edina, and Wayzata are top contenders but I think you need to add White Bear to the mix....I will be very surprised if the State Champ for '04 is not one of these four teams.

I think that Wayzata will win it for sure. Althought they lost some great players last year they still have two outstanding captains and two awsome sophmores, number 2 and 13. I hear 13 once checked a kid through the boards so they kicked him out of the game! But anyway they also just won the Morehead tournament a lil bit ago so we will see

JGA champs

Post by mnhockey009 »

At this time i would have to go with Eden Prairie, they are undefeated through about 15 games and have won the Duluth and Minnetonka tournaments. In those two tournaments they beat White Bear Lake, Wayzata and Edina after out shooting all three of those teams. The winner of state will definetly be one of those four teams.
