They kicked us out of the tournament because we were the 7th team in and they didnt have 8 teams, so they went down to 6, dont yah think they could of told us earlier,instead a week before, with having our rooms booked, fees paid. heres the email i recieved from Moorhead youth hockey, and also they want us instead to come down for 3 exhibtions games, are they nuts, its an 8 hour drive.<br><br><br>----------------------------------------------email from moorhead<br><br>Hi<br> <br>Bad News. We can not permit your team in our tournament. We could not work out the details of a 7 team tournament and could not find the 8th team. We had this tournament approved for 8 teams and had to get approval for the 6 team pool play and send out bracketts yesterday.<br> <br>I sent you another e-mail earlier (at your other address) and explained about this tournament and the caliber of teams here. I really believe it would of been a waste of your money and time to come here because of the teams entered in this tourney. The talent is below average for this particular tourney.<br>I am sorry for the bad news.<br>If you would like to come here sometime and play our Moorhead team we would be happy to give you two games and I am sure I could line up a game with Fargo also. That would give you 3 games and cost you nothing. the Canada dude needs relax a little bit. BIG DEAL you got kicked out of the tournament, instead of trashing the Moorhead association, look at it from there point of view. They were honest in telling you the competition wasn't as high caliber as it has been in the past and that it would be a waste of time to come play. And about the money you lost, call the hotel and work it out with them. it is pretty weak to let he out of town team know a weak in advance, when plans are already set. <br>It might have been different if they were more on top of things and told them a few months ago. <p></p><i></i>
