best player
I think there is a lot of kids in the league that have played on A teams all the way through......Wayzata had 9 kids that lettered on varsity 2 years ago on the state champion team last year. From what I have seen so far this year there are no real stand out players.

a top team of players or a team of top players?
I've heard a lot of good things about EP this year, but don't know how they work as a team. Not sure if the best team always has the best player. Like other teams they got some kids back from the high school program this year. Too darn many kids in that city.

I have only seen them a couple times this season, but am impressed with Nick Zimmerman and Brian Gill. They also have a very solid defenseman, forget his name, he's jersey #2. High school calibur in any other community.

Oh, and Tyler P. Hoiseth is nowhere near dead sexy, but keep up the effort.

EP has best kid in state....
There is NO WAY that EP has the best player in state on their team, what a funny thing to say though. So lemme guess, you are number 2's father???
<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

OVERLOOKING Jr. Gold B
Well it is funny how you all think that playing varsity as a sophmore makes you amazing!(they still got cut didnt they) Although, there is a RAVE player in Jr. Gold B that started on the the 1st or 2nd powerplay line during playoffs for St. Thomas Academy his sophmore year. He was cut as a senior this year. He now will school any player you can throw at him look out for Rave in the near future. Rave also has two other seniors with a lot of high school experience. These three are no different than any of these dudes u speek of! Any team playin rave better not underestimate the talent of the team because they will be shocked as they look at the scoreboard when rave is kicking there a$$.

re:
Jake Brunsberg u were not on varsity in 10th grade nor were you 1st line on the powerplay..don't kid yourself. how gay is it to talk yourself up on a message board especially a junior gold one

Best Player BS
Isn't this a team game? It doesn't matter who is the best or has the most points. It matter where you finish in March. If you are in Junior Gold level there is a flaw in your game, that's why your're here. If there wasn't you'd be on a varsity team somewhere. Cut it out.

Rave???
Who is this rave dude? and if he is so good why is he playing JR. Gold B and not A or Varsity? And some players CHOOSE to play Jr. Gold, not because they aren't good enough for high school but because they would just rather play Jr. Gold, be it a good coach, good team whatever the reason.

I don't get it...
I'll give you that, though, there are a few players playing in the Jr Gold program who have chosen to be there. But given the opportunity, they'd trade places with a varsity guy in a heartbeat. It wouldn't happen because they couldn't keep up. Sorry, bud, you are where you are for a reason.

Re: Rave??? to sophmorestud13
his name is jake brunsberg. he is from st. thomas academy and he is full of @#%$ and is talking himself up on this website which is gay. He never made varsity. In 10th grade he played 4 games only cause half the team got caught drinking and got minors. He didn't make it 11th or 12th. He hasn't ever lettered either. Not to mention he is a @#%$ on the ice and can get knocked over with a love tap. I think this is hysterical to see what you guys say when varsity is where it is really at.

jr gold.....varsity
Not all players on jr gold would rather play varsity.....You can say that all you want and i'm sure its true for most places, but some varsity programs turn off a lot of players. Jake Cicharz from last years STATE CHAMPION jr gold team played along with Judd stevens (plays for gophers) and Jeff mcfarland (plays at UMD) on wayzatas varisty team as a sophomore and was a regular contributor on that team.... Was thought to be one of the top 3 sophomores in the state that year. I have many other examples but dont feel like ranting.

Re: jr gold.....varsity
I agree with you that there are some good players on Jr. Gold. But then again there are also those who are just hacks and are just out there to hurt someone. I have only watched a few games and i was only there to see a fight. Your comment about the 10th grader. I know many people who were "God's" in 10th grade as a varsity player and then didn't do anything on varsity their 11th and 12th grade years. It happens its called blooming too early and people catching up. It happens to people every year.

Re: jr gold.....varsity
Ep had a kid last year that made BSMs varsity but quit in mid-november...

Who?
Got a name? I don't believe EP has had any former BSMers in recent years. Check those facts and get back to us.

On EP last year there were two kids from BSM Andrew Lau and Steve Alberts, and one of them did play varsity.
