...I got it removed the night I went to the hospital. It was near rupturing according to the CT scan, and sure enough it was very inflammed when they removed it and examined it in the lab. If it would have ruptured (1 day longer and it probably would have) my season would most definately be over, and I'd more than likely still be in the hospital, plus it would be one of the worst pains I've ever experienced. I wasn't scared at all really about the surgery, I was glad the problem was being taken care of finally because over the past 2 years it's flared up 3 times.

WBL battle

Post by TartanDude »

I haven't seen many new scores posted lately.
Anyone know what happened with WBO v WBB? The way Orange has been playing lately, I'd have to put my money on Black to pull an upset.

It's nice to finally see a WBL team struggle like the rest of us.

Big Weekend for Burnsville

Post by RinkRat22 »

If you want to see some great JGB games this weekend, rent a hotel room near the Burnsville Ice Centre this weekend!

Beginning tonight Bville's final Weekend of league play is as follows:
Fri night (tonight): Brooklyn Park @ home, 710p
Sat Aftn: Tartan @ home, 110p
Sun Aftn: WB Orange @ home, 140p

After all that they go to Mound View and play that HOT goalie #1 @ Shoreview. Tough road. Any one care to weigh in on the likelihood of a weekend sweep?!

(I'd like to see them at least bump BP off tonight (that mean 2pts for Bville and 0 for BP)- the other 2-3 are position games)
Good luck Blaze-guys!

Bville Weekend

Post by BVILLEJRGOLD »

I have a feeling there might be a playoff atmosphere this weekend. And to think Wessy's Boys wanted to play us Sunday after W.B. Orange. We will be spent after these three games.

And by the way, a weekend sweep for who? Us getting swept or us sweeping? Could go either way to tell you the truth. Am I finally going to meet the rat this weekend? If you stop by for any of the games come introduce yourself. I'm the tall coach. Probably be wearing a black leather jacket.
BVILLE

Sweep here, sweep there...

Post by RinkRat22 »

The question was: Can the Blaze sweep or will they get swept? I just throw it out there for someone to chime in on, because I am tried of reading the Tartan guys chat on a 'scores' string. Just want some predictions.

Let's just say, there might be a rat in the room. This rodent likes to stay in the shadows and check out the action for himself. But if I have the chance I might introduce the Rat to the "tall one". Stay tunned. Just beat Brook Park tonight...

Good luck - you're in for a battle, I think!

Scurrying Rat...

Post by RinkRat22 »

If perhaps you hear a high-pitched noise at "the barn", aka Bville Ice centre, you might normally think there is a girls U12 game going on next door. But tonight, there might be a large, nasty Rat in the corner of the rink - watching and lurking!

Rat

Post by BVILLEJRGOLD »

For some reason I think you want BP to get beat. Is that because you want Tonka to get in? I hope you are lurking in the corner tonight, I think you'll be in for a good game.

BVILLE

Post by CoachGuy »

Rat, will the scury begin at 5:30 tonight in the land of tonka and end in burnsville?

BVille - I really dont think youll have a problem with BP, 17 and 7 are thier studs...Decent goalie, but slow D. Try and conserve that energy for this weekend.

7th game in 7 nights today for the Raiders of Roseville...But we get two of our better players and one of the best pair of hands on our team. Should be a nice relief for the rest of these players. Oh and our stud goalie is back. The future is bright...

In the words of Mills Lane (greatest boxing ref in history)....Lets get it on!

Rat around town!!

Post by RinkRat22 »

You guys would love that way too much. Always looking for some help for my homeboys by the lake. They need it. Don't take BP lightly, Bville, they can beat good teams! They just don't know it! If they are aware of how close they are to the "playdowns" it might be tougher than ya'll think.

CG from RV you should be happy to get all your guys back, can you help a brother out and take it easy on those Skips tonight?

Thanks for the info. I didn't think we would have problems with Chaska either. I'm not taking BP lightly and I hope the team doesn't. We'll find out.

BVILLE

Cheesey Predictions

Post by TartanDude »

Sucks to be BVILLJERGOLD this weekend. At least you won't have to hobble far to get home.

I'll try to stay on the topic for the Rat, but some of us don't have a very long attention spannnnnn.

TD's predictions to the Rat: not quite a sweep for the Blaze.
BVL 4, BP 2 - BP is tough, but no depth. Home town refs should help too.
BVL 2, TAR 3 - BVL was just too bruised up from the night before to catch the Tiny Titans.
BVL 3, WBO 2 - bruised bones and bruised egos take one away from the Orange Bears.
BVL 6, MV G 1 - Good goalie but TD predicts 15+ penalties for the Mustangs. Stay out of the box and it should be an easy one.

Any other good games this weekend? Not many that I know of.
Tonka over RVL? Would be cool, but no. 4-0 RVL
RAVE over EPR? No way! 6-1 EPR
RAVE over RVL? Could be a good game if RVL wasn't back to full strength. 4-2 RVL

Can't wait for the EP showdown on the 19th, EPR v EPB. I'd like to take a road trip and watch that game, but the Mighty Titans will be taking care of Centennial that night.
EPR3, EPB 2
Tartan 7, Cent 2

How's that for some cheese?

I dont know rat, I'm gonna tell them that the next 3 games are all against play off teams, and if you wanna prove you're a good or great team you need to take care of business. Like i said we get our guys back tonight. They are dying to get back on the ice and make up to their teamates the time they lost by being jicky-jacks. Even though it is the 7th game in 7 days we had last night off, and just watched Roseville whoop on Hastings. So i think we will be ready to go and see if we cant get some differential points tonight and sunday.

The next time i get on the board it will be dark out again...Im off to Tonka. If the rat is scurrying around out in the area ... Coach Guy is the Chubby Coach with the bad Goatee...Feel free to introduce thyself.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... oachGuy at: 2/13/04 3:08 pm

Solid show by TartanDude. I may not agree, but that's a great contribution. Only one thing missing . . . as much as El Coacho-Guyo may not like your answer, you didn't predict EPR vs RVL. I know that's not this weekend, so you are free to hold off, but I think the group would be interested.

Nice cheese. Pungent, but nice.

Thought about commenting on the RVL v EPR game, but felt it was too early. Since you asked . . .

TD picks EPR to sweep into 1st place. No way they should lose to RVL. EPR is a more rounded team, stronger defensively (incl goaltending), and they have more scoring power. RVL will catch EPR sleeping in the opening minutes and put a couple in but that will be it. CoachGuy's only chance is that EPR won't wake up until it's too late.
5-2 EPR.

Tonight we took tonka out behind the shed and threw a blanket party....

Roseville (7) @ Tonka (1)

One of those games where you can go ahead and pump out your chest a bit. Everything went right tonight. Great movement, better goal tending, and finished like crazy.

Also stopped by B'ville and saw the last two periods of the Braves and BP game.

B'Ville (4) vs BP (2)
I'll let the coach tell ya about it though.

Oh and i heard the score for EPR And RAVE

EPR (3) vs RAVE (2)
This is gonna be an interesting weekend for the Roseville boys, a win or a tie vs. rave and we have a top 8 spot. Lets just hope the EPR game on tuesday means nothing!

SLP Vs EP-Red

Post by SLP Coach »

Sat 2/14/04
SLP 1 Vs EP-Red 5

SLP played a pretty good game today, but the officials allowed the game to get out of hand. Both teams began to take runs at players and there was alot of slashing that was not called. I'm not real sure how EP scored their last two goals, due to the fact that I was ejected from the game with about 8 mins remaining. The score was tied 1-1 in the first but Park was outshot about 48-15.

SLP GUY ... YOUR THE MAN!

Post by PETESPOSSE »

HEY SLP GUY...YOU'RE THE GUY! YOUR ENTHUSIASM IS 2nd TO NONE, AND IS DEEPLY RESPECTED. I'M SORRY ABOUT THE DEAL THAT HAPPENED TODAY, BUT DONT LOSE THAT POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
I MET YOU AT THE MHL COACHES MEETING EARLY AND OUR TEAMS PLAYED OUR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR ATTITUDE AND LOVE YOUR ENTHUSIASM TOWARDS THE GAME AND YOUR TEAM. HOPE TO SEE YOU AROUND FOR A LONG TIME!
TO THUGS, NOT SURE WHAT WE DID TO BOIL YOUR BLOOD, BUT WE JUST PLAY THE GAME WE ALL LOVE. FIRST PRIORITY FOR OUR TEAM IS TO HAVE FUN. IF SOMEONE UPSET YOU, I'M SORRY. I AM VERY PROUD OF OUR TEAM AND OUR WORK ETHIC. RAVE HAS NEVER MADE THE PLAYOFFS BEFORE, AND WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT. IF SOMEONE HAS BOASTED TO MUCH, ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY PROUD OF THE TEAMS EFFORTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS.
