IGH (6) vs Lakeville (4)<br><br><br>We jumped out to a 5-1 lead going into the 3rd. Our guys came out lazy and Lakeville had it within a goal with about 5 minutes left. But they got a penatly and Matt got a good fed from Hank to make it 6-4 and thats pretty much how it ended. We went 4 for 4 on the power play tonight meaning we our 7 for 9 so far in the playoffs.<br><br><br>Woodbury (4) vs SSP (3)<br><br>The upset of the D8 playoffs. SSP overlooked these guys and Woodbury weathered the strom to hang in there. Woodbury got up early and SSP tied it 3-3 midway through the 3rd. With 1:42 left Woodbury came down on a 2 on 2 that looked harmless but somehow the puck slide out to the falling woodbury guy after a check and he put it in the net for the game winner. So it will be us and Woodbury for the 3rd place game. <p></p><i></i>

Thanks CG. We have never won this 3rd place game losing the last year and the year before. We have a great shot to win it this year but the kids cant think we have this one in the bag already because Woodbury will come out strong after this win over SSP. <p></p><i></i>
D8 IGH TAKES 3RD
Finally for the first time in my 3 year Jr. Gold career we took 3rd. I wasn't expecting this to happen going into playoffs this year but let me tell ya, we have heart. We played our asses off for most of the tourney and the cards fell into place for us. Hopefully the journey will continue tomorrow... <br>By the way final score...
