I have not seen Moorhead or Grand Rapids this year. We are in the Moorhead Tournament this weekend so hopefully we will get a chance to play them. The format for selecting teams to the State Tournament is probably as good as it can be. The only flaw most years is that if a weaker Northern team slips in then someone gets an easy 1st round game, but you can't fix everything. It would not be a State Tournament without at least one northern team.

EP wouldn't Duluth be that Northern team? You shall see that neither of those forementioned teams are very strong. You should be calling the dogs off after the second from what I have seem from youyr team this year.
You wouldn't think to look at him, but he was famous long ago

Most years, Duluth would be that team. We should not & hopefully will not look past any team.

They are very weak teams compared to the steady competition we see in the metro area
You wouldn't think to look at him, but he was famous long ago

Duluth!

The Duluth team is very solid. I know a lot of kids on that team and they have tons of talent and are definitely one of the best in the state.

Centennial over Wayzata again!

Post by Hammerhead »

Centennial brought their own refs again over to Plymouth Arena last Tuesday and beat Wayzata for the 3rd time this season. What is their game plan against this squad. Should make for a great post season showdown!

Paying the refs again

Post by rabidwhitevarmit »

How do you figure giving up 3 breakaway goals in one game has anything to do with paying the ref? Wayzata might want to think about getting a new goalie.

The Roseville A's (skating at B) are undefeated. I would think they would be better than middle of the road at A
