what will happen at JG B state first round? who will advance, any predictions?

First Round Games are as follows: Roseville* vs WBLO Hastings* vs. Osseo Black Eden Prarie* vs Albert Lea Chaska* vs Brainerd * = my predicted winners Top two games should be good and tight, EP blows AL out by 5 and Chaska handles brainerd by 3

the roseville and wblo game will be one of the best game that will be played and if theres any upsets it will be that one as long as wblo can stay out of the box.

i completely agree wblhockey07. That could be a great one. I suggest that both teams just keep thier heads and play a good up and down game and not let the refs get into it at all. Cant wait to watch!

who knows anything about Albert Lea, Hastings or Brainerd. what chancedo they have against the metro teams

brainerd is alright. we beat them and lost to them in playoffs ... they have a few ok players ... but they are a cheap team .. and i dont think they will stand a chance with out home town refs !

yeah so was i we had some problems b4 the tourney and it didnt work out after a few of our best kids couldnt play . but we did quite well down there with out them

I thought this was a prediction thread, not a Carlton excuse page. So here I go, Roseville v WBL Orange: Roseville is too fast for the bears, 4-1 Hastings v Osseo Black: Hastings wins a close one, 3-2 EP v Albert Lea: EP wins, 9-1 Chaska v Brainerd: Chaska is hot right now beating WBLO and Osseo Black, 5-2

I would agree that the following is possible Roseville 4 White Bear Lake Orange 1 Hastings3 Osseo Black 2 but Eden Prairie 9 Albert Lea 1 who knows anything about Albert Lea I have yet to have anyone tell me any thing about them are they just a fluke in getting to state or what? Chaska / Brainerd no body seems to know what Brainerd is like either or are they like Albert Lea Inquiring minds want to know, I have never seen either team.

These predictions are from the guy who thought the RAVE would make state....... well they were one game from it....and if it had not been for Chaska's amazing weekend, the RAVE could have been at the big dance. Roseville over WBL Orange (Roseville 2005 JGB Champs) Osseo Black over Hastings (I have not seen Hastings this year, they normally put a good team on the ice, I have a feeling OMG is going to be a little better prepared this week than they were last) EP over Albert Lea (not much known about the AL team except they had 4 wins in their league play..... Hastings was not the only team to beat them in league, so I am guessing they will struggle with a better than average team.... EP is better than average) Chaska over Brainerd (Chaska is playing very good hockey right now, this is the time of year all coaches hope their team is coming together...... Carlton says they played Brainerd tough without their two star players, this did not impress me..... picking Chaska)

Watch out for Albert Lea's goalie he can be outstanding. Might just surprise some people.

Roseville over WBLO Hastings over Osseo Black (Hastings is a very quick team, that plays fairly good, not cheap) Eden Prarie over Albert Lea(Albert lea is slow and cheap, E.P. will take advantage on the Powerplay Chaska over Brainerd

I play for Woodbury Jr. Gold and played albert lea 3 times this year, we beat them two out of the three but they won the important game. this isnt an excuse but hastings and us(wdby) were both 11-0-3 in district this year, and were the two that shuld have gone to state, but albert lea outplayed us in an important game, so you could say they are a fluke but they have been playin better hockey now, so i would still play hard but it wont be a game like if you were playin WBL orange or roseville by any means

Coach77, Which team are you saying has the top goalie in the state? EP and that's why AL only gets one goal, or Albert Lea and that's why EP only gets 3 goals? Muchos.

i can tell you right now from playin Albert Lea 3 times this year that they do not have the best goalie in state, we beat them 7-1 the first game, so if the best goalie in state lets in 7 goals in a game, then idk what to say about the other goalies

Well Eagleguy91 everyone has EP killing Albert Lea but their goalie will keep them in the game??? The Best Jr Gold B player might not even be in state tourney???

i believe So. St. Paul hurt him after we played him our first time, so the second time we didnt play him i dont thik, but the first time we did, not sure. but playoffs was a whole different story for Albert Lea they played real well, i was not able to play cause i got in a fight with a Hastings players, so i couldnt tell ya where this guys weak spots are....
