Wessy's going to state???

I can't believe Wessy's are going to state, i mean they have some good players like 2, 4, and there goalie but other than that they have nothing. is anyone else as shocked as i am? PEACE OUT

Nope. Wessy's played very well in regions. It will be an interesting game against Edina at state.

Wessy's played 4 (only team to play 4 games and advance) strong games against 3 quality opponents. The did everthing right to win. Hats off to the boys for maintaining there cool against the wild bunch from Osseo.

Tough rematch no doubt I would probably say that they are the two strongests squads, winner of that game would probably go all the way Loser will walk out the back door

Why is everyone surprised? This isnt the toughest league to play in, and I mean nothing against anyone by that. Wessy's has been playing very good the last month when you need to. In the A league like this 3-5 players always makes the difference, but I watched them play lately and their other lines have contributed. Look who placed in the top 10 and didnt make it. The only people that are surprised are either Slackers or Cakeaters. Everyone else expected Wessys boys to advance to State. I disagree with you about this not being a tough league to play in & I think all of the teams not going to state would agree with me. If 3 to 5 good players can carry you, then Wessys & Wayzata have a shot in the Upper Bracket. I think that Edina's depth along with one really good player will get them to the Championship game. Wessy's boys deserved everything they got this year. After playing for them for three years and having suburban silverspoon children like many of you call us whitetrash, hicks, ghetto, gang members...etc etc it feels so good seeing this team beating teams like Centennial, Minnetonka, EP and all others that show no respect to a team full of kids that try their hardest and leave it on the ice. Go Buffs

Our team has shown Wessys boys respect all year & last I checked we are from EP a "silver spoon" community in your eyes. I am assuming that starsalum refers to the Holy Angels Stars. Yes I went to Holy Angels but I lived in Minneapolis and dont tell me these suburban teams dont look down on Wessys. There were so many times where I was told not to shoot someone after the game, or call my fellow gang members <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/sick.gif ALT=":x"> . Its ridiculous but I know there are exceptions to every rule. Edina was always the worst but what else can you expect from them. And yes looking back EP was always pretty cool, its just nice to see we are competing now. And I dont recall anyone on the team being from Bloomington or Eagan. Go Buffs

And in regards to Hill Murray not being in the ghetto...thats exactly my point!! Kids from the suburbs have no idea of what life in the city is like. Not their fault but its annoying and a slap in the face, there are many nice parts of the cities. But anyways back to the topic, GO WESSYS. Go Buffs
