M1- Edina vs. M5- Wessy's Boys G2- Moorhead vs. M3- Wayzata M2- Eden Prairie vs. M4- Mounds View G1- Grand Rapids vs. M6- Lakeville Predictions? I say Edina, Wayzata, Eden Prairie, and Grand Rapids all advance....

Just took a peak at the Regional results, looks like Wessy's Boys and Mounds View made a nice run to get to State. Can't really understand how Lakeville backed in with such a generous playoff schedule. Its a nice break, but they may be out of their league in the state tourney.

I don't think so, lakeville beat Wessys' and tied them, EP very close twice Edina (given open netter) 3-0 and one goal game Mounds View split Wayzata- don't remember so I would say that you are wrong. I would play any of them, cause we'll have to to win the whole thing, and that shall be tough I'm sick of Love but I'm in the thick of it

well it seems as if the boards are drawn out now aren't they I am ammazed that there is no WBL or Jefferson! I don't think Lakeville is a bad team as it appears they can play a competitive game with anyone as shown by playing tough games vs EP and Edina. However, the only teams they(you) beat were Mounds View who overachieved to get into state and Wessy's who from what I understand are not the same team they were earlier in the year. My point was that Lakeville is clearly not one of the top 8 teams in the state, but got a break by getting an easy path to the tournament, much like their Varsity gets by playing in by far the worse section is state high school hockey. It just looked like the regional brackets were flawed when the 6th seed can get to state by beating the #7 seed, losing the next game, and then beating the #9 seed. There is one way to prove you belong there, and that is by winning some games. Good luck.

Thank you for the luck, but if you ask me we had the hardest "group" in regions, given the 11 and 12 seeds were jefferson and wessies and edina. It is just a simple twist of fate I'm sick of Love but I'm in the thick of it

DFenceWinsGames, Jefferson was beat by Wessy's in Thursday nights game, so they were done after one game..... And it seemed as though Wessy's was scoring on every shot that they had in the WBL game.....

Thanks for the bulletin board material. No predictions from me. All I know is you gotta be in the state tournament to win it & we are in it. The Edina Lads acted like they won the state tournament when they beat Wessy's on Friday. It will be fun to watch them play again. Both are great teams. Both can be beaten. If Wessy boys can body up #18 from Edina and keep him from scoring, it will be tough for Edina to win their 1st game. Last time I checked the bracket, you gotta win that 1st game to be 2005 State Champs. I do like Edina's chances in the 3rd place game though. Dylan, great picture of DFenceWinsGames. I think that Wessy's Boys will have the best chance out of any of the remaining teams to beat Edina. Wessy's has a real strong goalie and they have some kids who can put the puck away damn near every game. In every game I have seen this year #2 has put away atleast one, usually two. #15 is a strong player as well as #16. Only downfall of the team are their defensemen. Good luck to the Wessy's.

Mounds View did not play in the north, Centennial was pretty good team & as for how they won. As your name states: Defense wins games baby! Played Edina pretty tough at Braemar although early in the season. EP is tough match up for them though, but if their goalie gets hot, watch out!
