There are some good teams in this tourney, but I think Eagan will come out on top. I don't know the what the brackets look like, but Eagan has come out of nowhere this year.

brookings may be the tourney favorite. they are sending a high school team in to play. and from what i've heard they are hungry to win it all. should be interesting.

There is no school sanctioned hockey for high school age players in South Dakota. The teams are registered as Jr Gold A & B. They wouldnt want to be school sanctioned as # of games would be restricted, when practice starts in fall would be regulated, etc. Besides high association wouldnt look at hockey as there are only 8 teams.

Brookings has an excellent team--their program is the best in SD.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >rmkjfk at: 1/13/06 5:23 pm

brookings is clearly a vert good team that could arguably play with the top 25 of mn varsity aa's or a's. their daily regimen is impressive. up at 5am. skate for 1 hour then lift for 45 minutes. chores then on to school! show me any minny team that can match that dedication and focus.
