It really should be a great tournament. I know how much work the EP association puts into it. Good luck to all involved. The competition seems amazing, which will make the whole experience even better!

We had some key players gone (not exactly an excuse), but I honestly think that we were not as ready as we should have been. To me, the one tournament that we have to win is the EP one (yeah, cocky, I know!)

What team are you on, or a fan/coach of?

The EP team had some key players go down...roufs (hurt ankle)....Shrank (hurt back)...Stewart (hurt knee)...all three players are very big for this EP team. There are also a couple of kids out with sickness. Stewart and Roufs should be back soon but im not sure on the status of Shrank. In the Brookings game its a varsity team that hasnt lost a game, osseo we killed but eagan we had 11 players and mostly were trying to stay healthy and we played terrible. This EP tourney should be a good test for the best...Green Bay is amazing, Edina is solid, Tonka good, Sioux Falls has a good team also, does anyone know anything about Mitchell or Watertown? It should be fun to see how the out of state Jr. Gold programs match up to the MN Jr. Gold's top teams

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ockey09 at: 1/17/06 6:14 pm

Which GB team are you guys talking about ? The Bobcats or Jaguars ? The Bobcats beat both Wayzata and WBL while the Jaguars lost to each team. I heard that Wayzata was outshot 38-18 and WBL outshot 43-16 by the Bobcats.

Mitchell and Watertown have typically been equivalent to a "middle-of-the-pack" MHL team over the years. Some have been better, some have been worse, never a real standout though. I have no idea what they are like this year.

The Green Bay team is the Bobcats. They are a very strong team. They are a U-18 team with a few players who have already graduated from High School. They also have a few foreign exchange players on the team. I saw them play in a tournament in Canada where they dominated their pool until they were short players due to 3 or 4 game misconducts. They are the strongest team in the Junior Gold A portion of the tournament.

Green Bay Bobcat U-18

For clarification, the Bobcat U-18 team does not have any players who have graduated from high school, but does have 2 foreign exchange students from Prague playing with them this year.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... keyhuck at: 2/4/06 11:22 am
