Bemidji was missing 4 players in the first game between B & B. Future games will be a little closer I would guess.<br><br>Brainerd does have a nice team and looks to be a favorite in the Gold region along with Grand Rapids.<br><br>Moorhead is an unknown still. Not to put down grand rapids, but the duluth team was playing quite short handed in there opener with few players and an inexperienced goalie. Since they have added a good goalie and added a few playmakers. They finished second place last weekend in the Spirit of Duluth defeating Minnetonka 4-1, Eagan 6-3, and Marquette 2-1. I feel they will play a lot better in there next game against grand rapids and they will be a force in the North <p></p><i></i>

To answer the question what happened to moorhead? lets look at who they lost from last years team. Erik Weiss, Mike Boseman, Matt Lilja, Tom Swenson and Mike Hagen all graduated, the last two both being solid goaltenders, all of the above having jv experience. They also lost Jared Larson who moved to Roseau, and several other younger players made it back to jv this year. They currently only have a roster of about 12-15 players. So yeah, its gonna be a tough year for the spuddies. I think numbers are down in the youth program, so this might continue for some time. <p>What it is... Its Knight Time Baby!!!</p><i></i>
