this is the list. biggest surprise at forward is Zepeda vs. Friedman or Gaardner. Zapeda did nothing all tourney. Top 5 forwards were easy. Defense looks well selected. Montegomery did not impress...I think he is good, but he did not have a good tourney.

zepeda and montgomery

Ok Zepeda may not have got a lot of points but he used his speed real well and i had a lot of chances and also made great plays he was a big factor for having his team win. Montgomery i thought played real well from start to finish i thought that was a big surprise he is only an alternate.

"and i had a lot of chances and also made great plays" tough to figure out who wrote that.

Gaarder and Webb not making that team is a flipping joke. They are two of the best at their positions for the '91 level.

i agree web should have easily made it. i heard he had 3 shutouts in 6 games and only let in 3 goals all tourny. im not math wiz but that is a .5 GAA and that makes it VERY easy to win when you give up a very little amount of goals. i have no idea how trent caspers made it. i dont think he shoulda made it outta his district! if web hasnt been getting looked at for Ann Harbor he will very shortly. i think hes the best goalie for the '91 level.

Politics, politics, politics. Advanced 15's is nothing more then name recognition and politics.

District 5 won one game during the Festival and only got one player advanced to the 102 camp in St. Cloud. By the way, he played at Shattuck for one year and that was last year.

District IR lost every game at the festival and I believe both seeding games, yet they sent 5 or 6 players to St. Cloud. District 10 went undefeated and only sent around 7 or 8 players. I don't have the complete rosters, so I don't know the exact numbers.

I was told that District 5 had 4 to 5 players ranked very high, but none made the cut for St. Cloud. I guess they're names were not known well enough and they didn't play on the right AAA teams over the summer.

If you think that the Advanced 15 National camp cut goes any differently, then you've got blinders on.
