Coaching
This year has seen the most turnover in # of jobs 26 replacement, 30 total. It also has the greatest % of turnover 20.6% for existing teams
I looked briefly at the last three years of turnover:
48% (61 of 128) of teams have had a new coach in the last 3 years.
34% (43 of 128) of teams have had a new coach in the last 2 years.
23% (30 of 128) of teams have had a new coach in the last year.
13% (16 of 128) of teams have had at least 2 new coaches in last 3 years.
I guess the good part is that over half the teams have had their coach in place for 4 or more years.

Great choice! I didn't even know that the position was open. Moe also was the coach at St. Olaf for 2004-5.hockeydad wrote:Sarah Moe, former GAC player, is the new coach of St. Peter/Le Sueur-Henderson

Sounds like former St. Olaf assistant coach/MSU player Ryann Geldner will assist Moe.ghshockeyfan wrote:Great choice! I didn't even know that the position was open. Coaching vacancies
Boy I'm surprised that either: (1) ALL these positions haven't been filled yet and/or (2) no one knows who has filled these posisitons.
With the season starting Oct. 30th (1st day for coaches) there is a lot of teams without a coach.

Nick is a 2004 graduate of Augsburg College and most recently has been the Assistant Girls Varsity Hockey Coach at St. Agnes. He has also been the Head Girls Softball coach at Saint Agnes over the past two years, and an Assistant Football Coach there as well since 2002. He was the Assistant JV Boys Hockey Coach at Saint Agnes from 2000-2002. His hockey knowledge and coaching expertise will certainly be a welcomed addition.
