Whats going to happen to the northern JGA teams this season?

Any idea what might happen this season whith coaches and players? Teams, numbers, coaches. Any new coaches and teams?

probably Bemidji

Walker - Jr Gold A or B ?? - not sure when the HS program will begin there, but I don't think it is this year.

Park Rapids ???? Not sure what is going on with their HS sports, so a Jr Gold team may come out of it if the school board is not funding the program (not just hockey, but all sports).

Who is coaching Bemidji Junior Gold?

Steve Premo would be the coach/manager/contact person.

But numbers are low right now.

Doubtful if a team will come together, but ????



Walker will play A.

Question on Brainerd's number, but HS coach supports the program so should happen.

Thanks Elliot. I knew I could count on you. I heard that Walker wants to move to the High School league next year. Any truth to that?

I believe the school board has given an okay to a hockey program in 2007 - with provision for funding (some or all ??) to come from youth hockey.

I am not sure how much they have raised toward building an arena, but that is the goal.

I knew they were working hard on getting their arena going. I was wondering how close to being done they are or if they had broken ground yet.
