We'll see who is good or not when the season starts. Rochestor better dominate their district if they are truly that good. And your right, eagleskater, even though Edina dominated Centennial and ended up beating them 4-0, they should still be number 3 and Edina number 8. Stupid me.

Rochestor Black proved themselves big time with a 3-1 win over Dodge county!

They actually haven't played Dodge County yet, and again my point was not to try and convince you that they are the best team in the state, but rather that they are certainly not over rated

yes I am aware of that, although they have only played 2 games so far, vs the Rochesters B2 team and Stillwater. Also the date their website says that game was played on, was about 3 days after their bantam tryouts ended.

I should give them a little more credit but it is still too early to tell what teams are like. I know Wayzata Blue beat Stillwater 6-0 so either Wayzata Blue is just unbelievable or rochester and stillwater dropped off

From what I have heard from someone who played them, is that Stillwater is way down this year. Its early and they have a great coach but I don't know that they will be able to overcome the talent level. As for Rochester, what are they doing playing a B2 team?!

The New LPH is out, but they don't have the updated rankings file on their website (C'mon Doug! ](*,) ) . . . anyone looked at the issue yet and have the rankings for Bantam B , other than Wayz Blue at #1 on the front page. (No surprise there.)

Thanks for the Richfield update Dreamer. That's the kind of dedication this Board needs, especially early in the season!! =D>

The Richfield update is very nice. Let's all take note and post scores that efficiently.

I too am frustrated with the LPH website. They are always very slow at updating it and it isnt that easy to navigate. I.E some links are duds and sometimes the rankings do not get updated with the issue: see right now!

Why do you think the Girls #1 is on the cover and not the boys? Are they saving that for a later issue?

I was on the Stillwater website and it said they were playing a Rochester Red and there is also a Rochester Black. Is there any difference in these teams. What do we know about either one of these? Do they stand a chance in the Moose?

Any league play start yet? Follow the lead and get em posted!!

Bagley is not having a bantam team in dist. 16 due to lack of numbers at that level.

WBL Orange beats Roseville 3-0 and
WBL Black beats No St. Paul 4-0 in Dist 2 play.

Disappointed in some of the Districts not having up to date info on their websites. Legaue games already and no schedule info. Poor.

Elliot, are we going to see a D16 website? Thanks for the D16 BB rankings. Helps the City-folk gain perspective.

Any big scrimmages this weekend? I think I'm going to truck on down to Chaska tomorrow morning for the State Championship rematch. Anyone else going? I can't find anything on Chaska, have they played yet?

I heard WBL Black has a stud. What's the word on that? HockeyObserver has his finger on the pulse =D>

The MNHO definitely has his finger on the pulse, but could probably afford to catch a flick some night instead of hanging around the BB rinks all the time. God only knows what he did during the summer without his Bantam B hockey. Take the wife out once in while, MNHO!!

WBL Black definitely has a stud horse. #6 Lennartson. There. The secret is out. The 15th kid on the A team must be pretty special for this kid to end up on B. Terrific speed and a super sniper. He had both goals against us in our scrimmage and both blew by our defender and sniped one that no goalie would have a shot at. When he turns it on, look out.

I think my subscription to LPH ran out, or I would have that list for you. Maybe after lunch. Let's hope someone beats me to it.

Three Six Two Nine Nine . . .now there's someone with their finger on the pulse. And their thumb on the page. Nice of you to report in!

Grapevine scuttlebutt . . .Centennial Red 6, EP Red 1 in a scrimmage last night. Kind of surprising. EagleGuy, got any info on that one? I'm sure you went to watch that one. Did Centennial look that good or EP look that bad?

Booyah

Observer comes through with a hot tip. If its true and I believe it is, Centennial has somewhat redeemed themselves. Still not worthy of the #2 spot in my book. Then again my book sells for $1.99 at the local paperback exchange, it even stinks like a basement. You know what I'm talking about.

The EP Centennial game seemed like fluke. The EP team played as bad as they could and Centennial played great. Don't count EP Red out just because of this game.

Wayzata Blue played Chaska today; Blue wins 5-2. Shots were only 19-15 in favor of blue. I thought the game was pretty even except Chaska made 5 mistakes and Wayzata capitilized on all of them. The goalie on Wayzata wasnt very good and both of Chaska's were shaky
