Top 20

I think Woodbury should definately be a top 20 team, if not a top 15 team. They are a solid team.

Hopkins

Hopkins lost Fink, the team. Of course they aren't anywhere near as good as they were last year. The kid had at least 75% of their goals.

Why are people putting so much thought into these pre-season rankings. They are based on nothing. To have Champlin Park ranked is a joke. They have 11 players after last night and they are 0-6 or 7. That being said, Blaine at #4 are 0-5-1, Buffalo is not a good team (nothing personal). Until the tournaments kick in and the league starts, these rankings are feeble. I really would like to know what they are drinking when LPH put this list together. (This comment is for all age groups, not just bantam)

I don't get why Edina is still ranked number 1, even after losing to Centenial and some other teams. Also, why wasn't Centenial ranked number 1 since the beginning? This group has won the past two state championships, and brings back their big stud in Lovik. I know these rankings don't matter until the real season get's into full swing, and even then they are just a bunch of old guy's opinions, but if you are going to do rankings, put down the Budweiser and do them right.

If you all only REALLY knew on how LPH worked out and get to their Rankings - you would probably be very surprised.

if blaine really is 0-5-1, they shouldnt even be ranked. That is a horrible record for any team let alone a team in the top 5

Is anyone else surprised to see Brooklyn Park move up to #10 this week? Are they that good this year at Bantam A level. I don't remember them having that strong a club at the BB1 or PWA level last year. Any thoughts?

Okay, LPH is officially retarded. Roseau #2 in state after a record of 2-2 so far. Losing to St. Cloud 6-1? Tonka 4-3. Wow. Thats all i can say

These are hilarious: how is Woodbury and Stillwater not in the top twenty? How is Duluth East number 15, didn't they just beat Centennial, White Bear and Eden Prarie? How is Roseau number 2? How is Moorhead so high? I don't know who does these but they are not even close to right. Mounds View? I guess Mounds View is so good they had to put them in twice. This is funny.

Rankings

You might have an argument for Woodbury, But Stillwater? they got beat up pretty good in the Centennial tourney. Didn't Blaine take a few beatings also? Who had Tartan played? I think Orono is getting some credit from last year. Give it another week or 2 and things will shake out.

Now that we got the HS tryouts out of the way we will get some true sights on who should be ranked and who is going to be watching in February.
