No. 4 Holy Angels plays No. 5 BSM at St. Louis Park Community Center at 6:00 pm on Friday night.

In the earlier game, No. 2 Class A Blake plays No. 17 Class AA Blaine at 4:00 pm.

Winners/losers play Saturday

Today I saw Richfield/United (1-0 R at end of 2 when I left), Breck/Orono (6-1 or so final for Breck)? And 2 periods of Moose Lake/Irondale - 9-0 Irondale with a fe wminutes left in 2nd when I left...

Bemidji defeated Elk River 6-2 and Moorhead beat Buffalo 8-0. All the games are being played in Buffalo.

Friday's games were some very good hockey to watch. Saw a few college scouts in attendance too.

Blaine-Blake game was decided by goaltending. Blake outshot Blaine probably by about 40-20 and Nixon had a very good game. Blake has some formidable players on their first line, talented and quite fast.

AHA-Benilde game was very intense. Benilde looks like they haven't quite hit their stride. Lots of individual players, less team play.

Today Blake beat Benilde 4-2. Blake's team play decided it, there is so much passing and team play by them, strong effort and determination won it. Was a come from behind win, I don't believe Blake ever had the lead until sometime in the 3rd period.

Couldn't stay for all of AHA-Blaine game but AHA looked like they have the studs to win that one. Will be surprised to hear if Blaine pulls off a win there, but anything could happen.

College scouts saw a lot of good players at this tourney. Great girl's hockey action!

Edina wins it's tournament beating Shakopee in the second OT 3-2, the game goes in the books as a tie.
