I think Cloquet is better than both Hill-Murray and WBL by 3 goals. CEC has a way better goalie than either of those teams I saw on FSN last night, and Tyler Johnson and foreign exchange student Victor Karlsson will light the lamp.

WBL 1

Cloquet 5 (with an empty netter)
White Bear 2

W.B.L. could easily be 1-5 after this weekend since they play Duluth East Saturday afternoon.

White Bear gets a little "home cooking" with the ref's and stay out of the Image

Collette stands on his head.

No, I do not. But I feel that is a game WBL will win.

I am sure it will be poor coaching on WBL part.

GR19,
CEC has a way better goalie than either of those teams I saw on FSN last night
Well that seems interesting to me that you base it off a game in which Phillippi of H-M (32 saves) and Collette of WBL (27 saves) both played magnificant and turned away many outstanding scoring chances. Basically, you just said that your goalie would have posted a shutout in that game, whether or not he was a Pioneer or Bear.

I'm just not sure how you can play "way" better than the two played last night...

White Bear needs a win to gain confidence. I don't think they are there. Cloquet wins this one 3 to 2.

The jacks are on a role and i dont think the "white bears" will be able to stop them. CEC is just too deep and their team chemistry seems to be amazing. alot of these cities teams seem to have trouble clicking.

im going to say...

CEC ... 4

WBL ... 2
Sincerely,
Jack

This should be an excellent game, especially given Cloquet's success early in the season.

About the WBL - Hill game and the goalie comment, that goal that Phillipi gave up, and dont get me wrong I think he played very good and he didnt give up any others and he is a good goalie, but you have to admit it was a pretty weak goal. You could see on the replay on tv that no one knew where the puck was and then the WBL player kicked it to himself and the puck was in the open and you see phillipi square up to it and look right at it, with no screen or anything, and then the guy shot and he kind of went down but not all the way and flicked his glove at it and it was just ugly to me. But dont get me wrong i think he is an excellent goaltender, but he coulda had a shut out if not for that ugly goal...

With all JR's and SR's on their top 3 lines and no sophs on D either, the Jacks are way to deep for anyone to stop them this year. Doesn't hurt having Reid between the posts to top things off!!!

Jacks - 5

WBL - 2

Hey icefin, can you give me a reason why the jacks won't pound the teddy bears?
