Premiere10,
PLEASE tell me that you are kidding about the goal Phillippi let in during the WBL game. I give lots of credit to the player who scored, because he absolutely sniped that goal...hitting the bottom of the crossbar first, then going in.
Anyone else that saw the game see the goal? I'm not sure how Phillippi should have stopped such a hard wrist shot that came directly from the slot...

Again hillfan, i said i think that philliipi was very good in the game and is all around very good. My message maybe came across a little too harsh. It was a very good play by the WBL player, but just looking back at the replay he is right in the slot, true, but phillipi was screen or anything he was standing right there, perfect angle, staring right down at the puck on the WBL player's stick. It was an excellent shot and im sure he would have scored on that shot more times than not, but Im saying that the effort on the save was pretty weak...maybe he wouldnt have stopped it no matter what but his reaction to the shot was not a reaction I expected from such a good goaltender...he like bent at the knees and flicked his glove..i dont know if you can see the replay anywhere then look..does anyone else see what im talking about? Don't get me wrong hillfan, he is an excellent goalie...i apologize for maybe coming across too harsh on the first post.

Info
I just called the WBL sports center off of 96 in WBL. The confirmed that it is at the sports center. JV @ 6 and varsity @ 8. The gal told me to get in early if you want a seat.... I hope the JV game is good!
Hope that clears up any confusion!

There are going to be a lot of P.O.d people that won't get in to see the game. I went to the last couple up in CEC and the place was packed. WBSC is about 1/4-1/3 the capacity of CEC. If your going, you better get there real early. Best place to sit is in the balcony behind the netting on the north end (you have to look through the protective netting). The sight lines in the stands are bad. It's a great rink for HS girls and youth hockey. It's not a rink you put high profile game in.
When the rink has hosted the State Jr. Gold and State Bantam VFW tournaments, they had to bring in extra bleachers. To anyone attending, good luck getting in. Somebody had to be a real dolt to schdule this venue.

there will not be 300 people on the balcony up there, there will be 50 ppl tops with people standing behind one another. There will be people behind one another behind the whole rink except for in front of the bleachers. No doubt it will be packed im guessing a good 500-600 people will be in there. Parking is going to be a nightmare. I would suggest parking in the big lot infront of the strip mall opposed to the sportscenter lot because of the traffic.
