LovetheGlove, which team do you play for?
They must be pretty good they are rated #10 in the state, but then again LPH put a team like Roseau at #2, so the rankings in LPH don't mean much. I know they have a few good players, one of them is Jake McKee, who i play with in summer. They may not have much depth though...We will just have to see how it all plays out especially in the Duluth Tournament this weekend, where they are seeded with Edina, Grafton, and Hermantown.

Earlier Tartan prediction
Last year was last year for everyone. Some teams have totally new rosters some have a few additions.
Woodbury = returned almost the whole team, but lost thier leading scorer in Pittman.
Cottage Grove = returning 9, 2 strong goalies
Tartan = returns half but lost none to HS, dark horse for Regionals.
White Bear = only returns a couple look at record so far, not as strong as usual
Roseville = returned a few but lost a lot to HS
Stillwater = returns a nice group, look at the noise they are making so far
Edina = returns 5 still dangerous but not as strong as last year
Centennial = Lovick and Aus can't do it on their own
Looks like Darkhorse might be a little understated. Lets see if they can keep the wheels on the bus.

Tartan One VERY good line. Two GOOD lines. One strong goalie. They have well balanced Defense. They take too cheap many penalties, that might hurt them. District 2 teams cant compete with them this year. They cannot play a physical checking game. Thats when they lose their poise and the stickwork begins. New enforcement of rules plays into their "dont hit me" style. Guys they are for real. Give them their due respect. Theyre damned good. The revolving door into the penalty box may be their undoing.
