Chaska lost to Edina White 3-0. Chaska outplayed them, outshot them 40-22, but couldn't get the puck past the goalie that was recruited from the Duluth Area. Edina White will make it far because of the unbelievable goaltending, Edina's A goalie must be an all-star to beat out this kid. Also, one of Edina's goals it looked like the kid grabbed the puck after he fell down and slid it in the net with his hand.

based on the edina game, do you think chaska has a chance at taking district 6 this year. Are Chaska and Edina white the two top teams in District 6

I would say there are still 6 teams that could take the D6 title, but teams need to figure out how to get around the goaltending of Edina White (at least the one kid). Chaska looked like a very good team and if they would have been facing the other goalie I think they would have come out on top by 3 or 4. But it is early and D6 has too many good teams to make assumptions on who will make it out of districts. However, this looks like it could be a preview of the district championship at this point.

Chaska did not dominate Edina White at all, sure the goalie played very good. but edina came out with a 3-0 win. When the game was an even 5 on 5 Edina white forechecked very well and kept the puck in the offensive zone for most of the time.

ummmm......... I think the shots being 40-22 and the goalie getting a shutout indicates that the goalie stood on his head. All of the penalties Edina got were fair calls, as were Chaska's. The game was pretty even the first 2 periods but by the 3rd Chaska took control. I never said Edina got dominated by Chaska. The reason Chaska outplayed them overall is because of the amount of penalties that Edina took. Had they of played more discipline hockey, than the score could've been worse.

blackpuck and balckpuck, you guys are making posts about Edina White a lot and you just posted within a span of about 5 minutes. Are you guys calling each other and saying that you both are going to post? Or are you just the same person with 2 different user names? Either way, seems pretty idiotic to me...

Ice00breaker, ya their goalie played very well but their team was apart of that too. Also Edina White outplayed them in the 3rd period to put the game away. And also if you think those refs were anything close to making fair calls you better look at your little handbook again.

New Rules of Play, buddy. By fair I meant that htey were making even calls on both sides. May not have been good ones, but fair. Also, your coach had a nice tactic by complaining to the refs yet again and wasting almost 5 minutes off the hour clock.

So are u saying that they won because the hour clock ran out?...it was 3-0 and they were getting destroyed

No, just saying your coach complained yet again and felt like he needed to do that as insurance. They scored there goals within 5-8 minutes of each other, when Chaska had a defensive lapse (and when the kid looked like he threw it in the net). Had Chaska had a goalie like the kid you recruited from Duluth, they wouldn't have given up those goals. And you make me laugh; shots were 40-22 and somehow they got destroyed?

sure, edina got outshot but 20 of your shots were worthwhile, many shots were taken from dumb positions, such as wide open point shots and 2 on 1's taken from the top of the circle's. (it was made easy)

Okay, 22 shots were stupid. Yeah, seems pretty likely. Don't recall even 10 of them being that stupid, the goalie left rebounds out that would've been easy for anyone to put in against another goalie. But all the Edina goalie has to do is kneel down and he has the whole net covered. Your team wasn't very defensively disciplined. Get over it.

Whatever, you won 3-0 you should be happy and there is no point in you making up imaginary friends to support you. You dont want to give up shots, then dont get stupid penalties.

I wasn't playing in the game. If you are the goalie then you are pretty amazing. Turning down 40 shots. But seriously enough. If you wanna go talk about the game then start a new thread

Yews it was a good, pretty even game. I'm not from Chaska, but just ran down to the game to see if you guys would finally lay down and die. But congrats to you for keeping it up. You guys should be proud winning a tough game. After all, the goalie is still part of the team, so if he plays good then your team should get recognition. But lets get back to other games that wer played today or recently.
