Quite possible that the winner recieves the #4 seed while the loser is #5 in sections. I realize it's early, but it appears HM & Roseville will battle it out for the 1/2 seeds and Cent may sneak a few more wins to secure the 3rd spot. I'm sure WB will do enough to beat Stillwater.

Yes white bear is 1-5 or whatever but they are a whole lot better than that record shows. They have had the toughest schedule in the state so far. This tough schedule will only benefit them in the long run. For Roseville and Hills sake, I hope white bear doesn't get the 4th or 5th seed, that would be a tough semifinal for either team.

I say Stillwater keeps it close, like they did against Cretin, but the bears blow it open in the third.

THoughts

Da Bears will be fine! I cant believe that people are already looking at seeding...... at this point I think its way to early to even think about where any teams in 3AA will fall. If you want to be real about it, how do you give Hill the #1 with the conference they play in. All the teams in the SEC will beat up on each other, and they somehow get to run away with it? Just doesnt make sense to me, I hope in the seeding meetings they see through this!

As far as the game against stillwater, I think this is a MUST win for the bears! And I think the bears will win. Based on the fact that they played as many tough games as they have in a very short period of time it will only make them much tougher after some much needed rest!

Bears 4-2

Centinnial may have any easy schedule, and should be able to boast a decent record but they have a long way to go to be the third seed in 3AA. First they gotta figure out how to beat teams such as Elk River if they want to prove they are worthy of the 3rd seed.

You might want took look at their schedule again.

Due to their youth, Centennial, Hill, and somewhat WB will be much better come section time. Way too early to even consider seedings. Stillwater, like Roseville, has plenty of upper classmen and are able to hit the season running. I expect this game to be very close.

White Bear Lake
St. Thomas twice
Benilde
Holy Angels
Moorhead

oh yea... and theyre in the Schwans Cup also. so how is that easier? your gonna have to break it down for me cuz I dont see it.

and as I said Elk River dont count, neither does Blaine

If they want to be 3rd seed in 3AA as Pionerpride stated they should be able to beat these guys and not lose sleep over these games.

My bad though I did space out the Schwans cup earlier I'll give em credit for getting swept out of that.

regardless of how centennial does during the schwans cup, they will all be tough games. 3AA is down this year and none of the same thus far stick out too much other than roseville. Blaine, and Elk River will be tough games for most teams. It's not a cakewalk, it's still early in the year and centennial always puts quality teams together year in and year out.

True story...it is early yet and everything is pretty much speculation, and predictions. I also need to add I dont mean to rag on Cent im just voicing my opinion. I really hope they do turn it on, I have always loved watching them play at the level they usually do, and it would really make for one hell of a sectional tournament.

Best of luck to em'

Listen up cheeseheadprephockey fool, I never said Centennials schedule was tougher than White Bears. I never said anything about the Bears schedule period. Are you speedreading? You being the fool, said Centennial had an easy schedule. Your wrong. You further remove all credibilty, by stating that the Northwest Suburban Conference games "don't count" as tough games. The conference that has produced 4 different state champions in the last seven years. Yet you DO count White Bear playing Class A St. Thomas.

Just voicing my opinion...

where did I say anything about White Bears schedule??

However I did post tough games the Hill-Murray plays(as you can see in the part you quoted from me.) because you said they had an easier schedule. and I never said all of Northwest Suburban Conference games dont count, just the ones against Blaine and Elk River.

Good lookin' out man

Since WB was listed first, I inferred it was their schedule. You never said it was Hill's.

Why don't games against ER and Blaine count? How about Anoka? Your not making yourself clear. Are you only comparing nonconference schedules? I don't know, because you didn't say that. You said Centennial had an easy schedule. I dissagree, as would most posters. I see that Class A competition DOES count though...

Bottom line they have the easiest schedule out of 3AA teams that are contenders(in my eyes)

Personally I don't think Elk River, or Blaine will amount to much this season but obviously no one can say whether or not they will be competitive for sure, hence it being my opinion. Anywho if you don't agree with me instead of arguing in circles we can agree to disagree and watch to see how the season plays out. If your right remember my name and send me a private message bragging...but for the sake of the people that want to actually talk about the game this forum started about...

I'm pullin for White Bear and I think they can pull it off. Theyve played a horrific schedule and fought through the two I saw. They need it!!

Both Vichich and Mogren were yanked in the second period after giving up soft goals. Big win for the Bears to stop the bleeding.
