it is true they do own a state titles record. They share it with about 95 other schools however....

Tartan will win if Wood is at his best and Tom Doran and Garret Larson are at the top of their game. It should be a good battle but Tartan should come out victorious. I don't think Hill has a force big enough to hold Doran and the Titans.

Sparlimb, Pioneerprideguy,

Wonderful analysis'. I think the message was expressed very well to the Tartan players..err... folks on the board here...

By the way, for my short message, it's a complete joke to think H-M is going to underestimate Tartan and take them lightly. Lets get real: Every team wants a piece of the Pioneers. Whether it's Tartan or Sibley, Hill knows that they need to come prepared on game day.

Rogers gave Tartan all they can handle and they know it, they came a way with a very close win that considering a questionable disallowed goal they may have never got to O/T

yes the titans have had a pretty demanding game schedule, 6 games in the last 2 weeks ( all wins) romanchuk was smart to sit his first line against a team like richfield and let his 2nd, 3rd and 4th handle them.

actually that was sarcasm supremeone...not directed at you but the reasoning behined tartan being tired...u practice for a month and have 3 to 4 practices a week to not be tired...thats one of the most ridiculous things ive heard is that a team is worn out...were not even halfway through the season

hill did play a good game against tartan and in return tartan played hard and skated with them for the most part. Cary Wood came up pretty big too, especailly robbing Furne in the 1st. It was a good game. One thing i did notice too was not a lot of hitting, usually teams come out hitting the pioneers to try to shut down their game, but consequently, the titans skated with them the entire night. One thing , or actually two, that i did notice was Defensmen Jon Stockton layed a pretty hard hit on Nick Larson down deep, and also at the end of the game Garrett Larson rubbed out Furne pretty hard too...naturally both pioneers hacked after the hit, Furne more than Larson. I guess it doesnt take too long to be at Hill before you cant start taking hits huh Furne?

An above average team (not great) beat an average team. Hill moved the puck well, but just couldn't capitalize on their numerous odd man chances. Tartan stood around the 1st period and watched then got involved the final two periods and played hard. Everyone left satisfied as Hill put another notch in the win column and Tartan was satisfied not getting blown out.

Without seeing the game I can envision it as you say.

I applaud your candor in assesing your team. Hill is not great... yet. But a good coach would not build his team to look good in December now would he.

And Lechner is not the only good coach out there...

lechner wasnt even at the game tonight. and the other scorer for the titans was Jake Glass, who plays even better now alongside his phenomenal brother Zach who improves jakes game as well as the rest of the titans my a large margin. word is Doran requested Zach be on the team and after Romanchuk got a look at him over the summer, there was no question that there would be a spot on the team for Z. Glass.

Haha Garret I think that you may be on the team if you say something like that. Or are you gonna do it from the stands?

Whatever, I was at the game and thought that Tartan played really well and have to give them credit. Down 3-0 they could have folded but they stuck in there and gave them a game. Someone said hill got a couple lucky goals, well that second one by tartan was ridiculous too. Thought hill's second line looked really good and that tartan did a good job of taking Furne out of the game and kind of getting him rattled.
