Pee- Wee A's up North

Post by Flin Flon »

I'm wondering who out there has seen some of the Pee-Wee A teams from the North. Who stands out early in the season? Roseau, either Duluth teams? Grand Rapids, Moorhead? Bemidji? Let hear what you think. Elliot you always have a good tidbit about the north.

PWA's up North

Post by slow feet no hands guy »

It's early season up North, but it appears by looking at some scores, that there are several "good" teams. Maybe not any dominant teams yet. Both Duluth teams are solid, Hermantown has some nice wins, Roseau has a few losses (one to EGF), Bemidji looks OK. Grand Rapids looks like the top team in the IR. Brainerd has some quality wins, and a tie with Moorhead. Based on what I have watched and scores I have seen, my opinion would be:
District 16, Bemidji, Roseau, EGF.
District 15, Moorhead, Brainerd.
District IR, Grand Rapids
District 11, Hermantown, East, Lakers.

Let's Play Hockey!

Well from scores up north it looks like East and the Lakers are the teams to beat up there. I see they tied last week. How about Warroad they are usaully in the mix in Dist 16. I haven't heard much about Moorhead either any teams played them.

Well, I have not paid that much attention to the peewees, yet.

I like to let the squirt kids (first year peewees) get a little experience before making judgement.

But Duluth East is very good.
Grand Rapids has a good team.
Moorhead, Bemidji, and Roseau have to be consiedered in the top north group.

Do not know anything about Duluth Lakers or Hermantown, but they should be competitive.
East Grand Forks will be competitive.

I have nothing on District 15 teams other than Moorhead right now.

After I have seen more games I will get back on here.

Superior?

Post by jackstraw »

I don't know how you Northerner's feel about crossing the border, but watching Superior play last weekend impressed me. They have a line composed of triplet's that sure are fun to watch! Any scores with No. MN team's?
