So does anyone think that this years Gopher team may be one of the best teams they have ever had? I know the seasons early but they have been playing very good.

This should only be brought up after they win the national championship. Until then they are just a good hockey team.

I hope everyone remembers last years collapse at end of year. National Championships aren't one in the first half of a league and or season. Due to my living location I hope the Gophers are in the mix for the National Championship along with St.Cloud State

This team is definatley one for the books, however i havent been around long enough to say whether there the best or not, but id say they get top ten in all-time great gopher hockey teams.

This isnt the best ever, the have very talented players. This year many college hockey teams lost key players...Back in 2002 players rarely Skipped 3 years of college hockey...Look at Kessel one and done, then you look at Pohl, Leopold, Taffe This year the incoming Freshman class is great and they have freshman playing on the first and Second line...

I dont know there lines this year they are switching Frequently, back then they had seniors as 4th liners, they had ROLE players. Now The gophers have a Skilled Team, with many Playmakers and goal scorers.
