Talk to the Girls HS coach now about this and ask them what you should do to prepare for next season.girlhock19 wrote:what advice would you give to a girl who woul dlike to start at high school level next year she hasnt played hockey for a few years but is an amazing skater and comes from a well known hockey family

Agreed - and also there is a ton of stickhandling/shooting stuff that you can do off-ice or at the pond/outdoor rink as this may be the area needing the most work if you've skated but not played for a while. The skating will come (and is most important - as if you can't skate, you can't play well, etc.), but hands/shooting important too...GoBigRed wrote:Total Hockey (Hudson, Eagan & Minnetonka) and the new Herb Brooks Training Center (Super Rink) run great skill programs that could be of real help if you are already a great skater.
