Who's the best team in D2 for A bantams?

What's your take on A bantams D2?

Tartan, White Bear, Stillwater and Mounds View are all the top teams in D2, although i would say Tartan is looking to be #1 because their play lately. Tough to say though exactly which team is going to finish first out of the four. When wbl is on top of their game there better than any of those teams, but if they keep on having games like against mv, they could end up in the bottom half of the standings. Stillwater is the same also being very inconsistent. As for MV, if they keep up the good play, they could be looking at the top of the standings when playoff time comes.

I completely agree. You seem to know your stuff ilikehockey777. Tartan definetly has the right stuff to pull off a #1 spot. I know they have defeated MV twice, WBL atleast once, and I think they beat Stillwater already too. I know WBL and Stillwater both weren't at the top of their games against MV, but give MV some credit, they've been playing well. So I think it will be a tight race for the top seed, but it will all come down to who's playing their best hockey in the most important games.

So true Curt, so true! Who comes to play in the big games will be the ones at the top in the end. As for MV, if they keep up the good play, they will be in the same race as the other three. As you can tell i watch alot of games in that area, as i live around there. For now, its just a race to see who can finish on top out of those four. Should be a great rest of the season!

i completely agree with you two...
i watched mv play in the superrink spectacular and they looked good... they had some good ability and speed... but loss to tartan was dissapointing...im looking forward to the next mv vs. tartan game because that will be a great game and we can see who can take sole possesion of first place in D2... anyone know when that game is???? and who is in lead for D2 right now anyways?

yes that should be a great game to watch. Also, White Bear is in first, course that is on the site that does not get updated much and they are 4-2 on that and really are 5-3 so they are probably out of first now. And the game between them is Tuesday, January 2 at 8:30 in Tartan.

I honestly don't think that is saying much, especially after Roseville lost 5 guys and a goalie to HS. They weren't very good before they lost those guys, so I don't think they will be a threat/good competition for those top teams

Tarten lots of good skaters and a very good goalie has beaten moundsview 2 times always is a good game
WBL overrated but will finish top 3 in d2
Mounds View diffrent then prevoius teams expect them to be there at the end of the season
