Denfeld hit the post 4 different times including one that missed a WIDE open net. Pretty good game the shots only really reflect the play late in the game, Denfeld held their own when they weren't supposed to be able to.
Concerning DD, scoring a measly single goal doesn't say much for it's offense, and giving up 34 shots doesn't speak volumes for its defense. I'm not impressed.
Professor, I'm looking for "somethings" more from DD, if you know what I mean.
HAHA! Are you serious? You do know Cloquet is ranked top 5 in AA right? A lot of people feel they are the best team in the state of Minnesota. Did Denfeld (a single A team) have to put on a whooping to impress you? I'm not going to say anything about whatever team it is you like or play for, I don't judge teams before I see them play.
Professor, I have respect for DD, but I am not convinced they're a top 10 or even top 15 Class A team based on what I've seen so far. If they come to play against SCC and avoid the goon type game they're known for, then I'll be impressed. I agree, the game with SCC should be a good one.
That's fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But, I will say that Denfeld's only losses are to No. 3 Hermantown in A and CEC also ranked No. 3 in AA. I know you're not saying this, but it wouldn't be reasonable to say they're a bad team.
