This sounds like it was a great game to watch! Do you know what the stats were? Do you have any idea how the jv is doing? Hope they pull out a win against Centennial tonight!

GRG Lightning 2
Centennial 3 OT

Erickson and Johnson with the Lightning goals. Havel in net. Sounds like GRG competed this week in solid fashion. Good to hear.

Thanks for the updates. So Havel was in nets again huh? Where's Hamman? Wondering why she isn't playing.

No comments about how well the Lighting team played. Great weekend and the record doesn't show how the team played.

nice job girls.

Wow, what a game! 0-0 at the end of regulation! Lightning pulls out the win in overtime 1-0! Havel had some outstanding saves third period, both teams played very strong defensively, neither side had much of a chance to get any offense going. Big win for the Lightning!

Yes a very nice win for the lightning. Obviously no offensive production from either team in regulation but Erickson got it done in overtime. Didn't hear the shots but Havel played very good and made the big saves when they needed to be made. Congrats lightning.

Any thought from the others who were at the game? boblee? Partagas?

What a thriller! Game was a lot of fun to watch. Havel was FANTASTIC in goal. I think the Lightning have found themselves a goaltender. Sarah Erickson and Josefson were electric, just couldn't bury any. Bemidji did a great job blocking shots, but they had a little defensive lapse that created the GWG in OT. Emily Erickson got the winner on a great deke move. Great win for the Lightning. Final shots were announced as 22 a piece.

Perfect game. To bad someone had to be on the wrong end. It was a chess match from the start of the game when Bemidji was trying to get the right match up 17 seconds into the game. Lighting are playing well right now and things are looking up. Some big road games ahead will help get the team ready for the final push.

Congrats girls your playing well. "keep on keeping on." - Joe Dirt

Rendle wouldn't make such a jump. His kid will be a junior next year and a big part of the boys team. He will want to watch Sam through his next two HS years.

hupman are you nuts? She was not their talk to Rendle about a position on the staff. SHe was watching GRG # 10 and Bemidji's top plays face off in a meaningful game.

he's a good coach but I agree with what BobbyLee said. He has a good job and a kid who is playing on the boys squad. But....you never know is this game of hockey. For all we know he could be joining the staff of the Wild if they keep playing good.

hupman, stop my side hurts from chuckling.
