that last blog was just a prediction and I boy was I wrong. Ep red 6, cent 1 is correct. That Red team has an amazing powerplay. Stay out of the box.

EP Red looked very good today. Yes there PP is really good! Dominated almost the entire game. Cent. did not move the puck at all, or maybe it did not have a chance to, because EP red was flying. Still predict Edina White to take it. Think they have too much skill and with everybody back are very dangerous.

EP Black looks like it is on it's way to a great 2nd half. Totally outplayed Jefferson for 2 periods. Still could not put them away. The Jags kept it close and played hard. Actually outplayed EP in the 3rd period and had many chances. EP looked gassed as #14 and #17 saw a ton of ice time. Easily there best players! D6 should be proud and it looks like a great 2nd half to see who comes out on top.

You would think that Ep red wouldnt be that good of a team because, there are two b1 teams and Ep red is all first years, but i guess they have a lot of skill to overcome that.

Yea at the begining of the year Black look to be the better team...but as we reach more toward the middle of the season The seem to both be very Skilled and are pretty even...When do Ep Red and Ep Black play each other?

Should be a fun game.

I won't predict a winner (slight edge to white) but it will be one ell of a game. I'm leaving now to get my seat.

Edina White 3, Eden Prairie Red 2 - in extra time (2OT, I think it was.)

White jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after a short-handed breakaway on a blocked shot. EP stayed composed and kept firing away when they had chances and evened it up on a blocked shot, short-handed breakaway of its own. Each had some chances in the OTs. An exciting Championship to watch.

Congratulations to both teams for a great game!

in all my years of hockey i have never seen a worse officiating. not only were they making bad calls and not calling dirty hits/plays they were throwing edina kids out of the faceoff like no ones business, which was terrible. its just that every call seemed to go edina's way.

No its true I was at the game watching and it would have to be the worst refs to ref a championship game, I saw cheap shots after cheap shots. but it was a great game to watch.

I need to ask this question. Did one of the referees (orange arm band guy) look like a weasel? If man evolved from an ape, that guy evolved from a weasel.

fbj123,

The game wasn't the worst ref'd game you have ever seen. It wasn't that bad. You have to expect that when you play Edina in Edina and there is a weasel on the ice.
