06-07 Bantam Game/Scrimmage results

Bemidji 1 Grand Rapids 0

Both teams played hard, but a little sloppy. Goaltending was good on both ends. Rapids had two goals disallowed. Refs were not so great. Started out making even calls then got one sided in favor of Bemidji. All in all good test for both teams, should be even matchup if they meet again.

Ep outplayed applevally but there goaltending for applevally was amazing, the goalie made the game from a 10-1 to just a 3-1 game

Both Jefferson games (Andover and Littleton) ended in DOUBLE overtime and both ended with them on a powerplay to start the 2nd overtime.

Littleton had scored with a minute left in the 3rd period but for some reason the ref waived it off. It looked like a good goal (deflected by their own stick on a shot from out front). Good game.

Agreed!! I watched the andover/jefferson game and in the second overtime a jefferson kid slashed the goalie after the whistle and andovers defenseman decked him and they call ONLY the check and not the slash!!!! DISTRICT 6 REFS!!! I talked to adults and kids from Osseo, littleton, andover, and eagan that the refs were bad all weekend and even more when they played jefferson!!( not including osseo) Is this a fluke or what!!

The calls went both ways in that game, as they do in every D6 game. The refs from D6 have been terrible since forever, but the thing is they dont favor one team. They always make crappy calls on both teams. But, I caught the And./Jeff. game too and that call cost And. the game and shouldnt have been called.

They always make crappy calls on both teams. But, the penalty you are talking about was a terrible call and in OT you just let the kids play.

thanks hockeyfan but I was juat tired of hearing bad stuff about gr and that virginia would come out of the north as a northern dad I have seen just about every team play and rapids has competed with evryone some inconsistency true but doing it and staying in games? start giving credit to good teams that no one cares about
