The ref was the same as the Edina Vs Duluth game earlier in the weekend and gave Edina a bench minor and called about 18 penalities total. This ref had a very difficult weekend, he seemed out of his league. I didn't see the whole game on Sunday but what I did see seemed very inconsistent.

The Refs called weak penalties, and let alone the Major penalties

I want to apologize for my ref comments as they were uncalled for.

the fact that bad reffing is expected doesnt make up for missing the calls and making terrible ones. they didnt make calls on edina and made call against eden prairie. they were throwing edina kids out of the faceoffs however, and on numerous occasions for no reason at all.

surprised by Elk River's big drop, and would only say that to all teams that the Tonka will be the toughest 23rd rank team you will ever play.

I wonder how many of their 12 losses have been by one goal.

Tonka losses

Post by sixbucksagallon »

Wayzata Gold 3-2
Wayzata Blue 3-2
Stillwater 2-2
Chaska 3-2
Edina White 3-2
Duluth East 1-0
Eden Prairie Black 3-2

Penalties continue to kill Tonka. Have to start putting the puck in the net. They have lost only one game when they have scored 3 goals or more and that was to ep red 6-4. If they can learn to stay out of the box, and continue their improvement, they could make a nice run come districts.

D6 Playoffs

Either way, the playoffs for BB1 will be incredible to watch. On any given night, one of the best teams could get beat. There are so many talented teams in this district.

Turk182- I guess I made a mistake. I used Tonkas web site to come up with the stats. I think your statement could have been more effective if you didn't act like such a Jack=ss. Either way I wish you good luck.
