US Versus Canada WJC Semis tomorrow

Post by iwatchalotofhockey »

US beat Finland 6-3 in a penalty laden game. Now they take on the Canadians in a rematch in the Semi Finals tomorrow.

Any thoughts on this one sports fans.

Only in Canada. I tried watching a game today that was being streamed and it is limited to inside Canada only.

So stupid, some American station should pick up the WJC and the World Championships, this is great hockey and extremely fun to watch the best young talent in the world.

Oh and by the way USA in an upset 4-3 in OT. :D

Yes Center Ice is carrying game

Post by iwatchalotofhockey »

I also saw the Center Ice package is carrying the game.

Plus you can always listen on XM Radio as they carry all the Canadian Games on the 204 station but it is the Canadian feed. Another online option you can listen on USA Hockey as they have a USA radio feed with Jim Rich doing the USA games along with Jeff Sauer for color commentating.

So depending upon your allegience there are options. Maybe that former Spud Brian Lee can do something today. Go USA!!

It might have been. I am getting updates from GPL, and according to the posters over there it was Gerbe.

USA vs. Canada

Post by Zamboni Guy »

USA - 1
Canada - 0

After 2nd

I have also received word that there is a video feed available outside of Canada at: http://www.rds.ca/lhjmq/mondial/mondial ... bcast.html (especially sweet for those French speaking of us on this site :? ) Maybe throw the video on and the USA hockey Audiocast? Not sure if there is more of a delay on one or the other.

So far, Canada has had 9 PP chances, USA has had 4. Both teams scored their goal on the power play. USA needs to stay out of the box! Image

Still, 1-1, 5:31 left in 3rd
