I don't think so... Im pretty sure they lost to Eden Prairie Red. Eagan is a very underated team though. Should be ranked in the top 10.

Eagan is very good, i'd say top 15, in district standings they are currently behind Woodbury, but when Woodbury and Eagan meet, I bet it would be pretty even.

The way the Bantam B1 standings are, I think that's the way they'll stay until regions, or possibly state....it's going to be an interesting year

Eagan is not a top team. They are lacking in skill but are very hard nosed and hard working. They will struggle to make regionals. Lakeville and Woodbury along with Rochester are stronger contenders and are playing better hockey right now. Woodbury is the team to watch out for right now. They still havent played a very tough schedule though. Its hard to say how they would do against Edina or Eden Prairie.

I want it to be Feb so that we can get into playoff time...

I think that EP Red team will be a tough one to knock out.

How many teams go to regions from each district EagleGuy 91?

Will your squad be there?

I also look fwd to watching this Edina White team when they have a full bench again..... Edina Green is coming along as well.

Chaska will be scary in the playoffs!

D6 Guru- All Districts will send 3 teams to regions except the following this year-2,4,5 and 15 will only send 2. Good news for D6 as it is loaded. I agree that EP red will be tough to knock out however, it is quite crapshoot. With only 3 teams moving on it is going to be a unbeliavable tough district playoffs. I like Both Edina's come play off time and 1 of the EP's? Which on I am not sure. Eagle guy if #14 and #17 hold up I think you may be the one? Jefferson, Chaska and Burnsville are all in the mix also. Look forward to the Jag/Minnetonka this week and the big battle this weekend between the 2 EP's Good luck to all!

Ep Red 3
Ep Black 1

Goaltending will be the decider in this game. I think that red's goalies are just a bit better than black's. Black doesnt have that many goal scorers, while red has a slew of them.

Just my thoughts... What are yours???

I think that Red is the better team from what I have seen...

Post by D6 Guru »

They have the better goalies and also better skaters.
It should be a fun game to watch.

I am guessing that Eagleguy 91 will not like the predictions, but I predict a 4-2 final for EP Red.

Chaska and Edina Green will be a fun one as well.....who will win?

EP Black's 1st goalie is big, has good form, and is consistent. I just feel like the veterans will pull it off against the first years, mainly because of Black's Physical play and experience.

Against my hopes, I think Red will win. They are just a more talented team. :-({|=

It's a double-edged sword against EP Red. You want to be physical to slow them down, but your odds of ending up on the PK increase when you play that game, and from everything we're hearing Red will kill you on the PP. What to do?

Says here that if Black can stay out of the box, they'll pull it off. Otherwise Red by a couple. Let's all hope they get some decent reffing.

Rankings suggest Red by 1 over Black and Green by 1 over Chaska.

Latest Rankings

Post by D6 Guru »

I have not seen the latest LPH Rankings but am guessing they are #1 still.
Who else would be #1 in BB1 hockey? They did win the Edina tourney w/out one or 2 of their top players, right?
