Im sure they will be number one and should be still in my mind, even without the fact that they have injuries. LPH didnt have an issue last week and their issue this week doesn't come out until tommorow for some reason.

Thats true. The more skilled team is red but black has the second years and they to have skilled players. And to say that ep red will win if ep black is in the box is not right, because you could say the same thing about ep black, for i believe they are evenly matched.

Black proved in the MWR that they can beat fast/quick teams like Woodbury, by playing smart. Which is one of their best attributes, they passed around Woodbury the whole game and I believe they can do it to Red. Bring on the criticism, but that is what I believe.

Why in every ranking is centenial red in the top 10. They lost 6-2 to chaska, and have also been beaten handily by other teams, they are a solid team but way overrated

Bantam B hockey is very inconsistent, it is nearly impossible to predict the winner from comparing scores. Rarely will the... team A beats team B 4-2. Team B beats team C 2-1, therefor team A should beat team C. That may never consistently work at this level or at least in the top 15-20. This scenario has been proven many times this season, and will continue to. And because of that, I don't care that Black "couldn't do it against teams red has beaten and outplayed" I still think that if both teams play their game, Black will be able to contain Red. Similar to if any highschool's team's Seniors scrimmaged their Juniors, the Seniors will come out on top the majority of the time. And regardless, I don't recall Black being noticeably slower than Red. Alright, I'm finished. I'll step down from my soap box now. [-o<

I believe Black will pull out the voctory in a tight contest. Both are great teams when they bring there A game. Let's be thankfull that EP finally put 2 B teams on the ice. It has been a disgace the last 2 years that they had only 1 team. A assocition that big should have 2 teams!!

I completely agree it is nice that EP finally put 2 Bantam B1 teams on the ice. It is amazing to see that EP and Edina both have 2 B1 teams and both teams are in the top 10 all season so far. It says a lot about the feeder program of these 2 communities.

The final score of the Black v.s. Red game was 1-1 after OT. The game was pretty much even throughout. Both teams played disciplined defensively and forced each other to take not very good quality shots. Other than that Red might have had a little more possesion but very even game.

i have to agree with you ice00breaker. however, i have seen both teams play before and i believe that what black put out there today is all they got. great game overall and i was thrilled to see red stay with that tough and skilled ep black team.

Great game on both teams part. Ep Red had many chances but just couldnt put them away. I thought both goalies (Ford) and (Halleran) had exceptional games!

The game wasnt dead even...Halloran made some great saves, ford made good saves too...Eden Prairie red had alot more chances, and Red out shot Black 27-17.

Halloran kept Black in the game

Wayzata Blue 6

Oh really? It looked like the shots were pretty even... Doesnt both these teams play again at the end of the year? (Last district game?)
