BLUE DIVISION
bemidji = 4 can't hang with the city boys
cottage grove = 2 should come ready to play, looking to make a statement
green bay gamblers = 1 AAA has been streaky in MN tournaments, roster issues?
hopkins = first game with CG determins fate

GREEN DIVISION
littleton, colorado = 1 Will they get out of CO with all the snow?
moorhead = 3 down year for spuds
sartell = 4 not enough fire power
chaska = 2 big game with Colo

BLACK DIVISION
alexandria = 3 won't finish last
brooklyn park = 2 just a little light on talent
burnsville = 1 should have a strong weekend
fargo angels = 4 not doing good in ND sub .500

Championship round
Burnsville vs GB Gamblers = Burnsville
Chaska/Littleton vs St Cloud = Chaska/Littleton (St Cloud had the easy way in until SLP dropped)

GB takes 3rd

Consolation round
BP vs CG = CG
Tonka vs Chaska/Littleton = Chaska/Littleton

That's my guesses.

i think you are wrong about burnsville. i cant see them beating GB at all....GB is a way better team than them. maybe u havent seen GB but burnsville is probably gona have a tough time against them and i would be totally shocked if they beat em

Just going by what I find by looking around.

Burnsville beat Chaska 2-1, Chaska has beat GB 2x I think. GB looks like they might not bring the same kids weather it's travel issues or sickness but they are strong in a few games and play poorly in others. I see Littleton lost to Bemidji 4-1 so I might have to drop them a little. I don't know if for this tourney Littleton is bringing the AAA, AA or one of the A teams to town.

Overall this should be a good tournament, St Cloud rolls out the carpet for this event.

You where JOKING about this statement in Bantam A?
st. cloud = 1 nice draw won't go far after this round
Strongest being Green, Blue, Black with red being soft.

Littleton is a AA this year. The scores that have been posted on the Forums where only there single "A" teams that ran thru town.

Was it? Chaska who won it Two years ago as PEE WEE A's and i think Littleton won last year as Bantam ?

I guess you need to elaborate on what you think I meant. I think St Cloud has an easy pool. As I posted Is Littleton bringing A or AA? I see Burnsville ahs already beat them this year. Chaska isn't the same team that won the A Peewee 2 years ago they are missing a couple players that made the Reilly boys that much better, Burnsville has beat them this year already. I am right with you on your pool rankings.

Pucknutz69,
You used the word "nice DRAW" for the soft pool for St. Cloud. So we where saying the same.
Just thought the word created as in "to bring into existence. God created the heaven and the earth or in this case, Red pool would be closer.

Littleton games that where played here in MN where only there "A" teams.
The "AA" is what is coming to this.

That was just to cover for the tourney staff that would say they "Drew" teams for the pools. Although they are the host team why shouldn't they pick who they want to play?

So how does this Littleton team compare to the Gamblers? I know they used to play in the Edina Xmas tourney and did well.

I believe Bemidji has beat all 4 of those teams.

The Littleton team, according to Stealth, is the AA team not the A level Bemidji played earlier this year. The AA team has not lost a game in CO and has 111 goals for and 9 against. I don't see when they (Bemidji)played Chaska and if it was early in the year I wouldn't put much behind that. So I would put the Green division as the toughest.

Bemidji, it is there to lose.
Cottage is in a soft division (8) after Rochester/LakevilleS Woodbury/Eagan league play. There are 10 out of the 16 teams in the standings that have played 85 total games and only have 17 wins! 1.7 win a team.

Hopkins is 1-5 in there league play.(not a very good web page) lost in other tourments that i saw on the forum
Gamblers, a contender based on forum.

Time to post some results soon.

look at who these teams have beat and where they are ranked in the top 20 Rochester/LakevilleS /Woodbury/Eagan. I see Cottage has lost to Lakeville S 2-1 and Eagan 3-2, and beat 8 ranked Mounds View 5-1. So go ahead Bemidji and take them lightly.

I can do stats too.
D16 Bantam A = 38 games played, bottom 6 have 10 wins 26 games, that's 1.6 wins per team looks like D8 wins.

Bemidji also has 3 OT games and 3 1 goal games. I guaruntee you that Rochester/Woodbury/Lakeville South /Eagan/CG will crush D16 every time.

Lets just look at the Duluth tourney for starters.
vs D East 4 - 1 loss
vs Rochester 6 - 0 loss
vs Blaine 3 - 1 loss

Looks like they don't have very much to be happy about, ohh yeah they are 4-3-1 in D16 EGF, Roseau and Warroad will pass them by the playoffs.

it really happened! sartell came out flyin and chaska came out dead cuz they thought theyd win for sure(cuz they tied littleton and littleton killed moorhead and moorhead tied sartell) and sartell scored a few early goals and chaska crumbled, not a pretty game sartell wasnt very good but they played out of their minds but chaska played terrible, they mightve been dead after playin littleton, chaska came back earlier today and beat moorhead by lik 4

Sartel

Post by hockeynut19 »

Sartel had a good tournament...played Littleton and came out just short at 2-1.
More surprises..Alexandria went undefeated in pool play - closest game was Burnsville 2-1.
Bemidji had a down weekend losing all 3.

Pool winners were
Black - Alexandria 3-0-0
Blue - Cottage Grove 2-0-1
Red - St. Cloud 3-0-0
Green - Littleton 2-0-1
