My guess is that this one will get ugly. Benilde has got to be feeling good after taking down section rival Minnetonka 9-2 this weekend...my prediction would be 6-1 BSM. Hibbing will have a slight advantage though due to BSM playing DM the night before.
And the fact that it's at home and that they will be on an 8 game win streak, while at most Benilde will be on a 5 game win streak and it'll be the second of two away games in a row in the north.
PS2 has Benilde winning this one, but I have Hibbing taking it to 'em.
Benilde is playing better lately. They are very top line-heavy with Estoclet, Carew and Appelhof. Carew kills teams with his speed and defenseman McCarthy hits hard and often but tends to make the Skoula-like mistakes (giving up the puck in own end) every once in a while. Goalie Shibrowski (sophomore) is solid. Attitude issues? Zeirke kicked off team? Borer JV? Soph transfer Glynn can join varsity this week but may not due to lazy and lackluster play?
HAHA yeah they always seem to blame the losses on the northern reffs and the home cookin' .
Hibbing 4
BSM-2
First line for both teams will do most of the damage(s)
There has been no real reason said as to why Zierke was kicked off the team as far as I know, but that is old news. Happened 2 or 3 games into the season...borer is not playing jv. He did for one game about 3 weeks ago. BSM did move a sophomore defensemen that played a good amount of varsity last year down to jv recently but with the loss of McCarthy with a hand injury he was quickly moved back up..BSM has a chance to solidify their top 3 lines with sophomore forward Bryan Glynn being eligible to play varsity this week.

BSM will also have the luxury of hibbing having played virginia the night before..
