North 4
Rose 3

North coming off 2 good wins..Defense is still shaky but improving..#1 goalie has played well without support and now with some better play from the D men..goaltending has been as good as any. Scoring hasn't been an issue...Kvasnicka & Zweber are great players and now the sophmores are contributing more as well.

Rose has some great young Offensive players, so they will get plenty of chances...but their goaltending will be their downfall in this one. Morgan is not all that he was hyped to be. If they go with the other kid (maroney?) they'll probably have a better chance.

First time they played Sturlaugson (North tender) kept it close (1-1 or 2-1) after 2 before rose broke it open at the end of the third for a 4-1 rose win. Now North has scoring and some confidence. Should be a good game

Credit to the Irish on being able to adjust their play.

The first time they played North I was impressed with their (Irish) speed and the way they stretched the ice.

Tonight they did the most damage the old fashioned way...traffic in front & get the puck to the net.

After getting a couple of tip goals they were able to free it up again and stretch for some nice breaks.

Horrible officiating...outcome would not have changed...just would have kept it closer.

Good thing the Irish have fire power...goaltending is still looks to be their achiles heal.

How can you even make that statement? I have watched both of these boys play this season and I personally think that the Irish have the best goaltending duo in the Lake. Maybe you should take the emotion out of your post because your team lost and stick with the stats/facts.

Shots Saves Save%
Morgan 284 244 0.859
Maroney 228 208 0.912
Team Total 512 452 0.883
